Well that's made my Friday 🙂

Had a couple of free hours today so I went for a nude stroll in a newly planted wood area.  This area is pretty big - I guess it's a 20 minute walk round the outside.  Imaging a meadow with long grass but with clumps of young trees above head height, that give a bit of cover.  But stil lots of open grass area.

I've wandered around there twice before and usually I would walk round to make sure it was deserted and then strip off.

Well this time I though, this place is big enough and there are enough criss crossing paths to go down if I see anyone.  So I arrived, found a sheltered spot to disrobe and set off walking.

Today it's been sunny with cloud but as I started to stroll the sun came out and it was wonderful. So nice in fact, that instead of sticking to the safe, criss cross paths I took a deep breath and headed for the main path around the edge.  Now the area is on a fairly steep hill so with the clumps of trees and the hill it's impossible to see more than 50 meters ahead - less in places.  But I thought what the hell - I'm enjoying it.

Nearly time to dress and head back to the car, I headed along the main path toward the place where most people enter the wood.  There's a dirt track running alongside the path I was on with a hedgerow separating the path from the track except in a few places where there are gaps to walk through.

So almost to the end of the path I stepped into one of the gaps just to make sure the track was clear before I walked right to the end.  As I peered round the hedge I spotted a chap coming up the track with his dog.  Thinking he looked like he was going to carry on along the track I ducked back from the gap and carried on walking along my path.

Next thing I know, his dog apears in the next gap, about 5 yards on from where I was, and runs past me. So at that moment I knew the gentleman was about to emerge from the gap onto my path.  Seconds later the middle aged, builder-looking-bloke steps through the gap and turns to follow the dog.  I think he had seen me through the hedge because he didn't seem startled - although I'm not sure he expected to see me naked!

Until I started reading about peoples experiences in this and other naturist forums I would have probably gone into panic mode and sprinted into the trees and thistles to escape where I could then dress and run home in a cold sweat.

Not this time.  I had already walked off the path to avoid someone earier and my legs are covered in tramlines from the tall thistles - not very pleasant.  So I wasn't about to do that again.

I looked at the chap, smiled. Nodded and said 'alright'.  He looks at me and says 'alright' although not smiling (probably in shock).  With that I strolled past him and carried on down the path as he continued walking the other way.

The feeling at that instant was amazing. Suddenly I felt a true naturist. Walking naked because I have a right to do so and not hiding and feeling guilt.

Such a good feeling it was that instead of heading back to the car I wanted to walk on down the path some more.  No longer worried if someone came up the other way - now I was ready and prepared to smile sweetly (I can't help it) and not be ashamed of my nudity.  Of course nobody else came - typical!

So then I walked back up the hill. Stopped and dressed near the entrance, and went back to the car and came home feeling great.

Now I have to spend a frustrating weekend clothed because it's only my weekday work that gives me the chance to get out there and do my thing when it's not too busy.  Hey I don't mind meeting textiles now but I don't want to attract a weekend crowd 🙂

Still smiling and definately feeling nude under these clothes 🙂

Well done Andy... I have yet to experience meeting anyone while I walk naked to be honest I don't think I could handle it in the same calm manner that you did, but as I mostly walk without carrying anything I would have no choice other than to run for it... It is good to hear positive reports of meetings with clothed walkers as they do settle the nerves, but it is still something I fear.

Hopefully when it happens i will react properly, but until then it is a problem I worry about.

Great to read about your naturist walks. Maybe you could include a picture to give us an illustration of the adventure. 🙂

Mark.

I had an encounter on the way down to local naturist beach last week. It is my normal practice to remove the few clothes that I am wearing whilst walking down the pathway to the beach, so that I am naked before I actually reach the bottom of the pathway, which does twist and turn. Rounding a bend, and without a stitch on, there was a middle aged, fully dressed lady coming in the other direction towards me, I had no option than to continue, say 'Good Morning' and carry on. She did reply, and there was no adverse after effects, i.e. visitation of the boys in blue.

I am a photographer by trade so I suppose I could manage to get some pictures of the walks sometime 🙂

Usually I am busy enjoying the walk though.

I suppose if you're a professional photographer that makes you less likely to want to take photos when you're relaxing!!

My point exactly - it would be like a bussman's holiday 🙂

Thats not to say I don't love what I do but carrying a camera round when you're on a nude walk is just something I would rather not need to worry about.
