I keep repeating this. I see Steve as crazy but also see that spark of craziness in myself. I may not like how he goes about his philosophy but accept that his insight may have a different origin as my own. In his own way he is fighting the system that perceives nudity as offensive and I cannot see that goes against my own beliefs. I do not think he gets what he deserves; he deserves better that to be victimised for being eccentric.

I will make the effort to send him a Chistmas card that is the least I can do. He will be in my thoughts as I walk naked in the countryside which is my legal right (helped in part by Steve) who made me the naturist I am. His publicity on the Penzance to Scotland walk inspired me (I was born in Penzance).

Moongpig is an easy electronic method of sending him a card.

Edit: His address may be very useful;

A quote from Nakedwalk.com on the philosophy behind Steves protest.
Most of us are taught that the body is bad, dirty, wrong, disgusting, shameful, indecent, harmful, etc... at an early age. This process will begin right from the very fist moments and certainly we would have picked up a sense that something is not right with certain parts of our body probably before we can speak.

This happens because an adult's unease with their own body will be passed on to the child whether the parents are conscious of this and whether or not they try and prevent this from happening: we teach by example regardless of what we think we believe.

Why would any one want to send a Christmas card to a person who gets all naturists branded as cranks & perverts ?

I do not feel Steve is a crank and pervert why do you consider he is?

Steve has supporters just as he has enemies. As a mark of human kindness he will receive my best wishes and I do not agree with all his actions. What I do find is the difficulty in justifying a man being in jail for such a considerable time for trivial offences.

What is the differnece between Steve's stance and the WNBR, River Cruise, Plinthers, Abbey Hose Gardens, York Maze and my own Naturist rambling group? I will exclude the option of degree as it is a principle.
