Hi Diver -also cheltenham ... would love to join you for a woodland walk, but over the coming weeks I'm on holiday and then got weekends booked for family stuff through most of August. I'm self-employed so may be able to make a weekday date if that's good for you? Plenty of walking oportunities closer to home as well - Cranham way is good.

Is it legal to walk naked, even in the woods?
I am a newbie!

I guess the most technically accurate answer is to say that it is not illegal. Under British law (and I include Scotland in this) the law does not generally define what is legal, but what is not. In other words if there is no law against something it is legal.

You would be well advised to read the area of this forum called Naturism and the law and the legal section of the NUFF website.

You could just wait for lots of answers here but it will be far quicker to read up at the above urls. Feel free to come back and ask questions afterwards if necessary (preferably in the dedicated section of the board so it's easy for others to find them later) once you have read those references.

Have fun,

Ian.

Late August & onwards I could join you. Keep me informed. PH must be included please. Forest trails around Speach house are always good for quiet walks midweek as are some areas around Bream. If you want to be adventurous try Kern Bridge area and take in skinny dipping in the Wye.
