Seems like cheating to go to a naturist beach to walk? Got up really early this am, drove round Poole harbour, including a great driving road from Corfe Castle to Studland, and walked the naturist beach without a care in the world. Fantastic with great views over the Purbecks, Poole and the Isle of Wight and lots of busy wildlife.
Virtually deserted except there was a meerkat there, at 7am, but he was fully dressed and just might have been watching the curlew. I even (and I still can't believe I did this) had a swim, although it was so cold it was painful (in one area particularly). At this point I did have an audience, as Condor Ferries went past but I doubt they could even see me.
I would have done the whole walk naked but somehow as this was an NT naturist beach I felt it would have been disrespectful to be naked outside the designated area. Was this silly?
Anyway, cheating or not, I got well into the zone, amplified by the drive back, which is just as well cos any moment now I shall have to get dressed until this evening.
Sounds lovely. I love Studland beach. I spend a lot of my time there walking. It's so nice to walk next to the sea, have a paddle and go for a swim 🙂
We went for a walk there in January (dressed because it was freezing cold) and there was a naked man in the dunes :-/

I once walked the full length of the Studland Naturist beach in the late afternoon on a warm, sunny, but VERY windy day. Because of the wind, the beach was almost deserted, and this made the walk somehow even more enjoyable - it almost seemed primeval! The only downside was that the wind was picking up the sand and sandpapering my ankles, but I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable naked walks I have ever had.

Barefoot from the neck down!

I don't think it was silly.
How can we expect other folk to have respect for us if we start disregarding their boundaries?
I laughed at the meerkat (or birdwatcher) being there at 7am - he'd probably camped out!
Back again!!!
It certainly is lovely to walk at Studland especially on the shoulder of the season. September October on a warm day. The light has a magical quality then and the beach is tranquil.
