It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .

Any chance you might be posting some of the sites/places/sights in Croatia and surrounds that you visited? We'd be interested in seeing these. Our plans are Spain/Portugal next May/June and Croatia + ?? next Sept/October so still at the info seeking and planning stages.

June is a busier time than July (for some reason) and you must book in advance. The reception is multi-lingual so you won't have any problem with communication. The discos are a long way away so only a faint noise. They have had to tone them down in the last few years as there were some complaints. Cars are forbidden on site after midnight so there's is no noise from traffic.
Regarding dogs. We have two but it's not really ideal there. Firstly it's very hot and the dogs are not allowed on the beach. This rule is strictly enforced by the 'beach police'. Secondly, the dog exercise area is dusty and covered with dog poo which is never cleared up, so gets worse every year. There is a lagoon within 5 minutes drive where we always take our dogs which is a cooling relief for them.
Hope that's helpful
Interesting read. We are looking at spending a few days here on our travels this August. Planning to stay at
http://www.camping-laclape.com/
Is this where others have stayed? The other campsites mentioned are either chalets and mobile homes; or further away and textile.

Changed our minds and are now heading up the west coast!
