we sent a couple of pictures to a paranormal group, )the one above) plus another one. the one on here they say is a reflection from a nail on the wood, the other one they cant explain, if anyone wants to see it just let us know.
we take a lot of pictures at home too, and in several (mainly with mandy in) there are "orbs", ok again they could be reflections, bit some are different colours. slightly harder to explain i think. we contacted the same paranormal people again and explained that we are naturists and that some of the pictures mandy is naked in and would it be ok to get them examined. we got a great email back so we have sent a selection of them away to be examined and we are still waiting for a reply. will let you all know when we get it.

hi again, sorry this one has taken a long time to reply to, we did get a reply from the paranormal society, and i have attatches a couple of the interesting bits.
we tried to attatch the picture they were talking about but its too big, s i have to work out how to resize it!
here is the reply
Apologies for the delay in replying to you - wanted to double check a few things before responding.

Although the one in the chimney breast was taken during the rain, the movement indicators on the ord itself are intriguing.  I can't pinpoint any external source to the orb, and it would appear that it's taking a very rapid change of direction - given the rest of the image exhibits no camera shake, the orb has slight streaking above and below, suggesting a very rapid (enough to be caught in the camera shutter speed) oscillating movement - in addition to this, the orb movement indicators indicate an upward direction at time of photo - this is not indicative of rain, and I don't feel that an insect could carry out the range of movement at the speed required.
While neither answer is a definitive "it's a ghost", the chimney breast image is one that I cannot explain - thereby making it probably paranormal in origin

interesting huh!

Was the chimney breast one posted? I can't remember now. Perhaps you could repost it.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the "orbs are ghostly" theory, not that I necessarily disbelieve in ghosts, but I think they would have shown up on film as well. It seems to be a problem with digital photography, but obviously you get lens "flare" from time to time regardless.

But you never know! What do you think A&M, is this something you believe might be possible?

Certainly interesting, but isn't it a big leap from "I can't explain it" to "it's probably paranormal" ? !!!!

Cheers,
nib

It is not a size of a pixel or two and it has perfectly round shape then it cannot be a dust particle on the sensor.

I had similar orbs on my photos at certain angle of light, then I checked the lenses and found tiny spots, which I believed to be salt from water drops having dried out, because we had been by the sea a day before and there was strong wind when I took photos of waves.

It also resembles ionizing radiation noise. I remember a movie about Chernobyl when they had similar spots on their photos and videos.

Interesting. It doesn't look like the usual orbs caused by dust and flashes.

You can view it directly here. You may need to be logged in to the gallery first.
