I don't post on here now (but I do on other sites) but I'm still using a phone and its self timer and it's easier said than done! When I took one in some woods I tied the phone to a tree with a hanky  ;D It took 3 or 4 goes to find the right place to stand, but it worked ok.

I'm getting more creative about what to tie/tape it to, I find sellotape works best as you can still see the menus!  ;D

Eva's remote control sounds good. Do you have any more details?

I did not know that phones had a self-timer and I’m sorry Steve the remote would only be suitable on certain cameras. Some digital cameras now come with a remote and they are not as expensive as you may think.

Taking naked photos of yourself in the wood must give you a thrill,  😉 I have only done it at home, as I am too scared to do it outdoors. 🙂

I would love someone to take some nude photos of me outdoors, i tried to take some myself this morning on the Brown Clee Hills. Unfortunately the results are terrible.

self timers are good and have practical uses...with digital pics you delete the crap ones and show us the rest..lol.
you still can't beat having your pictures taken though

Thanks Eva.

Yes, it was great fun  😀 I have been naked outside loads of times but I tend to avoid public places and I was pretty careful. It was for a photo challenge and I confess I did my trial woodland shots dressed and then only stripped off once everything was lined up and I knew where to stand, lol!

If you've not done it then I'd thoroughly recommend it, it's great feeling the air all around you.

I have quite a few photos of me, outdoors and unclothed. I much prefer a photo of a person, not  a pile of clothes with a face sticking out of the top. A challenge is to produce a picture which it is hard to date. Clothes and cars of course are the easiest dating cues, then hairstyles and agriculture. Nude photos in wild places can come close. I especially like mountains, coasts and woodland.

Many of mine my wife takes which gives great flexibility, others I use self-timer or remote. I've had photos taken by BN photographer and other event organisers, but these tend to be indoors or anyway more social, so less effective possibly.

I've been in BN magazine, H&E and other naturist magazines, as well as on the web. The only featured shot of me in H&E (ie one they paid for!) was taken on a self-timer using a tiny digital camera that cost 25 quid in Tesco.

I've found pictures of myself on someone else's collection of photos on Flikr, taken at Abbey House.

One of my photos appears as 5th or 6th on a Google image search for Abbey House Gardens.

I try it keep it so that a Google search by my full name doesn't turn up nude photos but it's not hard to find them on other searches. Nothing bad has happened so far. I have several of my favourites on the wall at home.

Cheers,
nib

most dslrs have remotes as optional extras, as did some of the older olympus cameras, once youve used a remote for self portraits you wont want to muck about with self timers which typically on give ten seconds to run away from the camera.

i picked up a 4mp olympus  c750 with a remote for less than 20 quid on fleabay... tend to keep it in the glovebox to record unplanned excursions,  a lot of the pics ive posted on here have been taken with it.

a small tripod is well worth carrying along aswell.

Its the same with me. I'm happy to share nude photos of me on sites like this, but reluctant to share them with the whole world. For those well-known reasons like work-related issues, which is a shame, but we don't live in an ideal world, nor one that is wholly naturist friendly. I'll post naked photos of myself on sites like NC as its a way of recognizing each other should we be at the same naturist place. I'd probably walk right past anyone from here if you were wearing clothes, if we're nude and have seen each other like that here, we might have more chance of knowing who we are.

I've taken nude photos of naturist friends with their own cameras as others here have mentioned. They've done the same for me. I don't mind them having nude photos of me either, on my own or in a group shot of naturists, they're not the sort to post them wherever they choose without asking beforehand either.

I answered a post on another site last year from a local guy wanting nude photos taken. We both use the same naturist beach but didn't know each other. Its not something I'd done before, but we spent about 90 mins photographing each other on the beach away from other people, and on a nude walk in the woods. It went well and 2 local naturists now know each other.

I have done lots of nude modelling for life drawing classes locally and for various photographers too over the years. I find it very relaxing. I am happy to pose for any photographers here, either indoors or out. I am happy to travel as I am always looking out for new opportunities. I am also happy to pose with others.

I've posed for a few different photographers and I really enjoyed it.  I was a bit nervous to start with but once I got over that it was lots of fun.

All pics thus far have been on a 10sec timer, but having joined this site I reckon I could feel comfortable eventually having someone else try and capture me in a good pose. Likewise I would be happy to help out in taking photos for other local members.

Also joined Pure Gym recently so I will be taking some before and after a few weeks to see if there is any visible difference.

My preference for general viewing is both for men and women who have good physiques as the human body in both male and female form is a work of art.

PM's welcome

Great subject.  Whilst it is liberating to be naked I am aware some people see it as a private thing.  I would be quite happy to "pose" for pics, you should look to set up a naturist corner photo shoot.

Trace is my best freind and has been for years, she was the one who convinced me naturism was the amazing and refreshing, so when she brought a up the subject of taking photo's it felt strange, now we pretty much pose for photo's at any given moment, even by complete strangers on the same walks as us, if youve got it, show it off, love yours and everybody elses bodies!!!! 🙂

Everyone's body is a work of art, be proud, show it off......

Our photo's are here http://www.anaturistlife.com/
