Hi James, keep it going mate....you will soon know when you are ready to move things up a gear.  I am a member of BN and from what I have read the swim clubs are far more welcoming and less judgemental than the traditional sun clubs

I kept on going naked whenever I could at home and then became frustrated at being on my own.  That was when I decided to move up to being sociable.

One option we sadly lack in this Country is Clothes Optional - an ideal situation for folks who are not sure.  The only venue I know of is at Abbey House Gardens in Wiltshire who have CO days throughout the year.  If you both went there you could indulge and who knows as she sees that naturists aren't all superfit babes Mrs B may weaken. Also with it being CO there is no pressure on either of you to strip.

The one  piece of advice I would give you is do not rush either of you, do it at your own pace.

Thanks for replying.  And, thanks for the link to the 'reluctant partner' page.

There are quite a few swim clubs around here so when I too take the plunge (notice I said 'when' and not 'if' !!), it will probably be with one of those. 

I joined this site to try and find out when it's appropriate to practice outdoor naturism and I'm slowly finding out that it's anywhere that I feel it to be appropriate.  I wasn't sure whether or not I'd need permission or a licence !!  But the more I read on here, the more confidence I'm building to take that next step.

My first time was at spielplatz i think thats right i was working down herts in february. They were holding an australian themed night and i had gone during the day to have a looksie. I was met by a very welcoming guy called john and his wife whose name escapes me and she invited me along. I felt ill all day and as the time loomed the palms of my hands were wet and you would have thought i had run a marathon i was practically hyperventilating . I neednt have worried myself it was the most natural thing to do and sitting there in a sauna with people i had never met i didnt get what i thought i would when 2 women entered and started chatting. My nervousness, pot belly and 'little will' paled into insignificance what an exhilirating experience and i thank all for making it a pleasurable experience what lovely people. Its a shame i cant get to do it more often as i dont have a lot of spare time but will make every effort to get to some venues and hopefully meet some of you there.  🙂

My first nude experience was a frew years ago at an officail naturist beach in Mid Wales. To run, swim and walk naked was most refreshing and exillarating and haven't looked back since.
