Hi
I am going to Plymouth to see Blur play in the Pavilions August 7th. Will stay in England form the 5th to the 9th. Is there any beaches in the area you could recommend, suitable for naturism? We have rented a car (hope I will manage the left driving by the way), so transport would not be a problem. We would not necessarily stay in Plymouth all the time, so also interested in information about nice beaches else in the South-west.
Havent't bookes accommodation yet, does anyone have a reasonable hotel to reccomend in Plymouth?

Probably the nearest official/semi official beaches to Plymouth are Downderry to the West and Slapton Sands to the East. There are several small coves betwen the two where naturism is more or less tolerated. Downderry is the local beach to Carbiel Naturist Park where you may be able to rent accomodation.

We live just 9 miles from Plymouth and would say you could stay with us but we are both working during your stay. However, we would be happy to entertain you in the evenings and take you to Downderry beach one morning which is only 9 miles away. We can highly recommend our local pub to stay in - The Crooked Inn... http://www.crooked-inn.co.uk/ Great food and accommodation and only 10 minutes’ walk from our home although for 3 nights would cost you £270 but does include breakfast and we would be happy to provide a couple of evening meals for free. Also we would be willing to drive you in to Plymouth to see Blur and back. We can also provide lots of information on places to visit.
