Finished work at lunch time today, so I headed off to Eastney. What a lovely day, what a wonderful place! I'd been there before, but never in such glorious weather. Hundreds of nude people, all ages from toddlers to even older than me, singles, couples, families...no gawkers or exhibitionists that I noticed. I was very sorry to have to leave, but there was more work waiting for me when I got home!
If you haven't been yet, do make an effort; it really is a special place.
Philip.
I do like it there but even though it is only 40 minutes away i rarely get the time to go there 🙁
Boundaries are there to be stretched!
As a regular user of the beach ( and fortunately live quite near it) I totally agree with Philip's comments. The beach has been very busy this week and long may that continue.
Totally agree with Nakedolder. There only seems to be a good atmosphere there. I made my first visit to Brighton, nude beach, yesterday but the jury is still out. Apart from anything else the pebbles would take a lot of getting used to!
I'll stick with Eastney, always been able to park my motorbike OK, and the occasional jaunt to Studland.

Eastney Beach is still the only naturist beach that I've been to. It's the closest to me, but also I like the relative privacy compared to what I've read about other beaches, namely the radar station and the fact the beach can only be accessed from one side (I think).
Good to see a recent post about it, since the future of the beach at one point was doubtful.

Just to add a bit to Gav's post - at high tide the nude beach is accessible just from a westerly direction ie from the adjacent car park behind the radar station or by walking along the beach with South Parade Pier behind you. At low tide then it is possible to walk along from the Hayling Ferry direction.

On a trip to Hayling Island last year I was able to sunbathe nude on the opposite channel fron Eastney.
Eastney is a great beach. Unfortunatelt I haven't been able to get doen there so far this year. Got some time of in a few weeks so hopefully the weather will have brightened up by then
Hi Everyone, can you tell us the best place to park close to the beach please.
Feel free to get in touch
I don't know the area but on the Website 'Directions' link it mentions a free car park.

In your position, I think I'd take that excellent boat and anchor somewhere close 8)
Hi Everyone, can you tell us the best place to park close to the beach please.
There is a free car park right by the MOD building with a path straight to the beach
A good beach which I have visited when in the Portsmouth area but not been there for a number of years sadly.
Long may its use continue!
🙂
