I visited Petitor Beach last weekend and had a bit of a sun bathing session, though not as long as I would have liked as it got far too hot for my pasty white body to handle! The beach (Cove) is fairly small and mainly large stones, but plenty of room and lots of shelter. I had a chat with a couple of guys there who have been going on it for some number of years and they have quite a nice little community there. A very friendly beach, with fantastic scenery. The down sides are, like most unofficial beaches, is the lack of amenities and the almost mountain goat skills needed to get to it and back up again! Otherwise a wonderful beach I will be visiting again many more times I hope this year.
