Ive had the most wonderful walk this afternoon on bodmin moor.  It was walk 3, kilmar tor, in "short ish walks on bodmin moor" this place was a hella to find, drove past it twice lo, but once out the car your suddenly hit with the vast expance and tranquility of the moor as far as you can see. Needless to say shorts and tshirt came off straight away as no-one could be seen for 5miles or so, if a book or someone tells you dont go off beaten track, please take heed and do so, my foot got stuck in boggy ground, panic set in and was sinking quick, eventually got foot out and then had to rescue said shoe :-[ after licking my wounds carried on to kilmar ridge and tor, the vies from the top are stunning, this was a good half hour into the walk and still hadnt seen anyone, i then made my way through a quarry and backtracked on the old dissused railway track (not there) and made myway towards the village where i donned shorts to walk through berriow bridge and up the long winding hill to the car park.  Apart from 5 minutes worth this was all done naked i highly recommend this walk.
