I just noticed whilst browsing the itunes store that the latest album from singer-songwriter Natasha Khan, aka Bat for Lashes, "The Haunted Man" features an interesting nude portait of the artist on the cover.

Over the years there have been a number of albums with nudity on the cover but not many of the artists themselves.
What a brilliant photo and advertisment for naturism, and what a great piece of art this would make, Spencer Tunic would be proud of this photograph I'm sure, I'm almost tempted to buy the album even though I haven't heard what the music is like.
They should make a poster of it, I think it would sell lots of copies.
Nudity only becomes an issue if an issue is made of it

One of the most famous ones is Hendrix and 'Electric Ladyland' with a host of naked ladies on the cover.
And the John Lennon/Yoko Ono cover with them both naked on the cover. Bow Wow Wow famously had 15 year old singer Annabella Lwyn naked on the cover.
Some have shocked, some have been banned or changed, and some even boosted album sales. The Bat For Lashes one is tastefully done and looks good.
A google search will reveal loads of different covers, too many to show here. In fact, photobucket may well take these images down as they contain nudity. Get 'em while you can.
