Zena and I used to go there occasionally. Since the road out to the naturist section has been unusable we haven't. Anyone think it's worth the long walk?
I am not keen to be honest, a long difficult walk and the "nature" tends to be a bit wild if you get my meaning
Thanks for that. Don't think we'll bother then.
I use St Osyths when I can,yes it is a bit of a trek now the road has gone but on the plus side it keeps the meerkats away,"nature "does sometimes get a bit wild, but I go to enjoy the quietness and the sun.

I went there last summer. Didn't mind the walk too much, but it does need a good pair of shoes. I just settled down to read and didn't get disturbed at all. I did try Bradwell too, but that is a much longer walk!

I used to go there when the track to the beach was useable, you could actually drive there.
Now you have walk for 15-20 mins to get to the beach from the car park.
I prefer it as it is now, as someone has said, it tends to keep the meerkats away. In my experience many naturist beaches are a good walk away from the car park, thats how it is, and if you are fairly fit this is not a problem. Good shoes should be worn, and be careful, its rocky.
Well worth it if you want a naked sunbathe.
