I've just had 4 days at Acorns in Devon and I would like to congratulate Andy and Kathy on the spotless facilities.
They continue to make steady improvements year after year.
Word of mouth seems to get the new naturists coming to them, with others returning year after year.
Recent improvements are block paving to the statics, a petanque pitch and a large lounge overlooking the swimming pool.
If you haven't yet tried Acorns, then you are really missing out on one of the best Naturist Camp sites (also B&B and static caravans)
Oh, yes, the weather was nice on Wednesday 8)

Was good to meet you there Amber after finding out who each other were! I'm going back there tomorrow for the weekend and the weather's looking pretty good compared to what we've had. Looking forward to another nice swim 🙂

went there last week for four days even though we had bad weather still enjoyed it and it was great to see the improvements.
We just got back from having a great 2 weeks there, weather was super. Andy & Kathy have done a wonderful job there, and they are always on the go. The pool was an amazing 28 deg was very welcoming during the afternoon. All pitches were full for most of the time. A great time a great place. If you have not been there yet you are missing out big time

Really? Have they changed the pool heating? Don't get me wrong, we LOVE Acorns and have been a few times (and wil be there again in August hopefully) but the pool has never been warm....nearer 28 degF maybe.

On my last two weeks there was in the pool everyday at least three times a day. Had a great time , the weather , water temp , hot tub and people all made it a brillint two weeks
Adam, I dont think they have changed anything regarding the heating, but yes it was wonderful, i think it was because we had it really hot every day and it warmed it right up.

We have had a succession of warm nights recently. This has a big bearing on outdoor pool temperatures.
For example Liverpool Sun and Air's pool is outdoor, uncovered and unheated. It was 24C last Friday. We have not had that temperature even in daytimes up here!
Anyone visiting on 1st & 2nd September. Hoping to make my first visit to Acorns 8)
Grommit and I may be around then for a few days , bring on the sunshine
Well it looks like a bit of Indian Summer is going to hit (at least the south of) the UK starting on 30 August and extend into the following week ;D 8) 🙂 so i'm definitely up for a stay at Acorns next weekend! Abbey House Gardens is on the Sunday so may think about going to that after a campover.

Something's cropped up for me on the Sunday but hoping to have a day visit on the Saturday 🙂
I had a great time at Acorns in early September. It was my first naturist camping experience and I had a lovely relaxing time, sitting by the pool, reading and then cooling off in the pool (it was a wonderfully warm week). Met some very nice people and spent a couple of evenings in the hot tub chatting away.
Acorns is a great place and I can't wait to go back next year.
we concur everytime we go something has been added or improved don't know where Andy & Kathy get all their drive from , we will be back this year again
