I would love to pose for someone else. Most of my photos are self-timer ones and after a while it does get quite difficult to think up new ideas.
Most of mine are taken on the self timer as well, and it always takes ages to get a decent shot in the poses that I have thought of, never mind thinking of new ones. Given the number of wasted shots its a good job we have digital and aren't using film. Personally I'm happy to be on either side of the camera.

any kent or south london photogaphers out there that want a wrinkly subject to photograph
I'm quite happy posing for pictures but I do prefer photos to not look posed so I try to look as natural as possible. I've taken photos for friends using their own camera too. Where timers are concerned, I have and do use them but I'd prefer to use a remote to set the timer off if that was possible, that way I'd be able to get into position before setting it off and leave the remote out of the shot. I only really started taking self shots due to lack of models but it is good fun.
So far I have only taken photos of myself using a self-timer. I like the idea of having some professional photos taken if they were discreet and I could remain fairly anonymous. Having studied art and done a lot of life drawing I think the human form is fascinating and I really appreciate tastefully done nude images.
I have sat for a class life modeling a number of times and have over the years do a little modeling infront of the camera for a few proffesional shoots. Mind you I know which is easier!
i have tried self timers but alway been bit of a rush and never seems to be natural but a few times have had someone take some photos for us and they have used our camera which is a safe way
I took a few photos for a friend on the local nudist beach only last week but remember that if you do get someone else to take photos for you then you must be entirely confident they will not do anything with them that you would not want. For friends, all images I take remain strictly confidential unless they say otherwise.
When I photograph models I always get them to sign a Model Release Form so, although as an amateur I'm not looking to sell their images, I do like to post a few of them online and the model has therefore given me permission to do so beforehand.
There are some fabulous backdrops round here for nude photography and it is a lovely way to spend a few hours when the weather permits, both as a model or as a photographer, and the big thing is that you get a record to look back on over the years. Priceless.
Hoping for a sunny summer, whatever side of the camera I'm on.

Welcome back to life, Ted.

I prefer to take pics than be in them, my wife loves posing for photos.
It would be nice to get some pics of us together but always cautious as to who we ask on the beach! A friend from chat hopes to join us when the weather pics up so hopefully get some this summer. As to posting we are of the view if we post them we are open to them doing the rounds so we are careful as to what we show! :police:
Almost all digital cameras have a 10-second delay.
With a gorillapod from under £10 you can easily set up a self-shot picture.

Do not do unto others as you would that they should do unto you. Their tastes may not be the same.

Why not just ask them to use your camera? Then there's no danger of them ending up somewhere you wouldn't want them to 🙂

so long as they don't run off with your camera 🙂
Nudity only becomes an issue if an issue is made of it
Not a nude story, but I was asked by a very pleasant and polite Japanese guy to take a picture of him outside some building which I did. His face changed momentarily when I told him "That'll be $20.00 please" Then we enjoyed a laugh together.
As for being photographed naked I've had pics taken of me by my wife and the BN photographer. Both trusted sources, and that's how it will remain. I accept I may be in others pics but no-ones going to get all excited over my bod. If they do they must be sad bunnies

Like Dave not a nude story but reading his got me thinkring. I regularly go for a coffee in the mornings and sit in a taverna on the waterfront during the season. Most days there are at least two and sometimes more cruise ships in, disgorging people for the whistle-stop tour of the island - the kind that follow snake like behind a tour guide holding up an umbrella. Most take photographs as they walk along, some of the harbour, others of the buildings but nearly all with their husband/wife/children/friends in the foreground. However, in the background they will get the taverna and its customers and it got me wondering how many thousands of computers worldwide hold a photo of me drinking coffee? Perhaps i should start charging a fee to appear as an extra in their shots.
As for me being in the background of photos taken on the nudist beach? Again I have no idea how many I could appear in, but as yet I have had no one blatantly take a photo of me, or ask me to take one of them. I live in hope on the latter though !!!
