Has anyone used the beaches between Calvi and Ile Rousse ? I have a week walking in Corsica in June with one day free at the end, so would love to spend it naked on one of their white sand beaches.
I have no transport, but there's a tramway that runs between the two towns with numerous stops between and I'm hoping one of the beautiful white sand beaches along the way will be naturist tolerant.

Unfortunately, Corsica is not very naturist-friendly, and you have to be very careful if you are nude on a beach outside those adjacent to naturist sites (there are several of those: Bagheera, Riva Bella, La Chiappa).
My wife and I did use the beach called "Plage d'Aregno", between Calvi and L'Île Rousse - but that was years ago. I have heard that there is now a bye-law making naturism illegal on the beach, and that the beach is far more crowded than it used to be then (mostly with non-naturist Italian visitors) - although I have read reports that towards the northern end of the beach, which is less crowded, some naturists mingle with the other bathers without any problem.
The police are known to patrol beaches, but apparently they just hand out leaflets explaining the legal situation and ask you to be covered.
Of course the situation is totally different for those who boat round Corsica: there are lots of isolated beaches and coves miles from civilisation. You can walk to some of them, but the terrain is not very friendly, and you have to know precisely where you are heading to avoid being trapped in "le maquis".
A Dutch site might be helpful (with a version in English): http://home.wanadoo.nl/irpp/

Thanks.  Unfortunately the link you posted gets blocked as a potential malicious site.  Having trawled around the internet a bit, I think I'll try my luck at Bodri or thereabouts.

Sorry about the link being rejected.
Here are two more links that you might want to try (both in French, with no translation provided, I'm afraid. Do ask me in case you should need some help):
- first, the "naturist" page of a general site of tourist information about Corsica: http://www.corse-tourisme.info/plage,naturiste,ou,pratiquer,le,92.html
- users' reports on a couple of naturist beaches - but they all go back about 10 or 12 years:  http://plagenat.pagesperso-orange.fr/resultat/corse/corse_gen.htm
