Do you wanting camping/mobile home - La Grande Cosse is a campsite near Fleury sur Aude, and highly recommended.  They rent out their own mobile homes, and you can walk through the nature reserve to a massive long beach - all naturist.  The site has pools, bars and restaurants and is almost a resort in itself.  We've been there several times with our own caravan.  There is an English company - Parasol holidays - which also rent out mobile homes, and offer a pick up service from nearby airports or stations if you don't want to drive. 

The on-site shop offers almost everything you could want, at reasonable prices, and sells a very drinkable wine from the vineyards of the Le Clape 'mountains' behind the site.

There is evening entertainment, which most people dress for - but some just in a sarong (even the men) and some of which is very good indeed. 

There are regulars who go back at the same time year after year, but it makes for a very good on site atmosphere and it's all very friendly and relaxed.

I love La Grand Cosse too - but every time we went there we were eaten up by insects (sorry, typically Gallic exaggeration). The beach is great, the walk to the beach gives an exhilarating impression of freedom, but perhaps we were unluck, for we had mosquitoes in the evening and tiny insects which we call "aoûtats" (my dictionary gives "harvest mites" as a translation), whose bites on the feet and legs can last for a couple of days. Perhaps the time of the year was wrong (second half of August).

Probably still better than the midges and clegs of Scotland.

Apparently the mozzies and 'harvest flies' are worse ten days after rain - so if it's been dry for a long period you're OK, if not you can get bitten.  The first time we were there the mozzies really bothered us but latterly they've not seemed to bad.  We use the stuff they sell at the campsite shop - and add citronella oil to our suntan lotion (also from the shop) and that seems to work quite well.  Mind you, we still cover up from dusk onwards!

I think we must have been lucky when we stayed at La Grande Cosse, no bitey things at all . The site was wonderful , and if you didn't want to do the walk to the beach , sit around the pool , like us , the sun is just the same .We also went into St Pierre , just on the edge as you left St Pierre for the return to the campsite , there was this small café , oh my goodness , the most wonderful Mussels of the whole holiday , fabulous , yum yum

We have used the beach at St Cyprien sud and found it to be very nice indeed. The far end of the beach, by the river Tech, is supposed to be a gay beach but that has had no impact on our enjoyment either way. I have strolled down that way but am none the wiser as to who was there. I don't care anyway.
You reach the beach from a roundabout on the D81 and there is roadside parking by the access gate; the earlier you get there the nearer to the gate!
Walk through the gate and turn right at the 'poste de secur'.
There is a good mix of people who seem to be locals as we saw the same folk in September one year and in the following June.
We liked it as it had a good ambience.
