Well then, yesterday was our first visit to the above beach and we thought we would write a quick report on what we found.

Firstly, it's quite a long walk from the pay and display car park, please bear this in mind if you visit.

Secondly, the general atmosphere at the beach is somewhat inviting with people of most ages enjoying the first real sunshine that 2013 had to give.

Thirdly, what is it with the meercats who seem to have not just nothing below the waist but also little above the neck? What is the attraction of standing on top of a sand dune wearing a thick fleece with a sunhat and nothing else? Since when has bottomless only been a naturist fashion statement?

However we enjoyed the overall experience especially as we were made to feel welcome by other couples and the vast majority of single men who were just there to enjoy the sun and kept themselves to themselves.

Always looking for friends.

If you park at Dyffryn Seaside Estate the walk is half the distance

Glad you had a good time. 🙂
As Clive says the Dyffryn Seaside Estate is nearer and free on all but the busiest times. Turn right at the toilet block by the pay and display car park, drive to the end and turn left when you enter the Dyffryn Seaside Estate, pass the shop etc and park in the triangular grassy area near the dunes.

Note that the is a BN Picnic on the Beach there on Sunday June 9th. We are hoping to be there for the first time for quite a while. 🙂

Remember that the Meercats are NOT Naturists!  >:(

Glad you had a good time.  Morfa is one of my favourite beaches.

Firstly, it's quite a long walk from the pay and display car park, please bear this in mind if you visit.

I know what you mean, but having also been a frequent visitor to Holkham, the distance at Morfa is short by comparison!  As others have said, you can shave a few minutes off by parking at the seaside estate.

Since when has bottomless only been a naturist fashion statement?

I have to admit that very often I'll slip a tshirt on in the middle of the day, simply to prevent my back and shoulders burning.  Bring fair-haired and fair-skinned I burn really easily!
