I'm sure that many of you use Camping Cheques for your European Naturist Holidays, but this year they have added quite a number of naturist sites, which are additional to those in the 2012 guide book, and details are only available on the website: www.campingcheque.co.uk or in more detail on the French version of the website!  Next year there may be even more as they are promoting the Guide to European Naturist Holidays, which we picked up at La Genese (one of their 'New' sites).

ACSI cards (www.campingcard.co.uk) are accepted at quite a few naturist sites in France, too, and Terme d'Astor in the Dordogne is one of the nicest naturist or non-naturist sites we've stayed on.

Some sites accept both.

We just recieved the ASCI books and the camping Cheque books for 2013.

We always book a ferry by Camping Cheque now and use either the Card or the Cheques to stay on sites.

The Camping Cheque now has the silver card option which we are looking at as a more convenient payment method rather than gambling on buying loads of cheques and figuring out where and how to use them all before they expire.

Anyway we are certainly looking at all sites in both, for those travelling out of high season, we think you have to be mad not to use one of these systems.

The Dordogne is on our must do for at least 3 nights this year if not more. See seperate post.

Happy camping (or caravanning/motorhoming).

Al

Yes, we're fans of Camping Cheques and the ACSI discount scheme. Interestingly, as Veronica said in the original post, the number of naturist sites that accept Camping Cheques has increased significantly for 2013. Whereas, the number of naturist sites which offer the ACSI discount appears to have reduced slightly this year.

Just as an aside, I believe the UK agent for Camping Cheques is Alan Rogers, the camping guidebook publisher. And Alan Rogers was recently acquired by the Caravan Club.

And one more thing - Veronica mentioned the 2012 Guide to European Naturist Holidays, which was excellent. However, it has been replaced by a new guidebook from the same French publisher, and now endorsed by the INF (International Naturist Federation) - '2013 Naturist Holidays World Site Directory'; which available from the BN shop for a reasonable £10 including postage.
