Have heard quite a few speak of this as an un-official naturist beach. Has anyone here been there - its pretty hard to access isn't it?
I have only been fishing there in winter so dont know about it being naturist - official or otherwise!! Sorry
This might help: http://www.blueseasurf.co.uk/wick.html
But it definitely is NOT an official beach.
Thanks for the replies.
Is this beach also known as Traeth Mawr and is not far from Nash Point ?
Yes this beach used for Naturism is called Treath Mawr.
It is an Unofficial beach but been used for naturism for many years.
Last time i went a year or so ago their was some Gay activity.
The normal area for naturism is the rocky out reach.
There are 3 ways to access this area. Dunraven, Monknash or steel ladder,
but as previously said check tide times as you can get cut off. 🙂

I went to Wick beach today. At least 30 naked people, although some of these on the eastern side of the rocks were doing undesirable things (one man masturbating both times I passed him and I may well have seen two men having sex.). On the western side of the naturist rocks though there were a good 15 of us simply enjoying the sun and sea though. I enjoyed several swims and explored the area (although I only went to the eastern side of the rocks the once.)
As someone who has only really been to official beaches before, the sex ratio shocked me slightly - there were only 4 women. Perhaps not surprising given the above.
I definitely recommend taking the walk through the woods and not aiming for the stepladder. I'm a young man and I found the stepladder scary. Here are some well written directions:

I will add that there is fork in the path from the car park field which Alex Heney above doesn't mention. Left through nature reserve/woods or right through fields. Go for the nature reserve.
I managed to forget/ignore the things I didn't want to see and therefore had quite a good day really.
Ive been there lots of times, and not seen anyone else there, but as I work shifts I go there mid week and most people are in work hohum
