According to the Vera Playa Friends forum the Naturist beach has been shortened to less than 500 metres and the beach in front of the hotel is now textile!!

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I read the report on the Vera Playa Friends forum. And whilst it raises some concern, I can't believe the beach directly in front of the hotel will be textile only.

It may be the case that the hotel considers the shore directly in front to be their beach (which obviously it isn't), but has persuaded the local council to erect the new sign to the south of their boundary? In other word to make it appear as though it is for the exclusive use of hotel guests?

I assume there's no risk of the hotel turning textile - is there??  :'(

There's always a risk that Naturism will be threatened.
This is why it is essential that we are organised and recognised.

We were there and very naked only a few weeks ago. Spent two whole days at the beach and it was as busy and widespread as ever. Walked the same distance along the shoreline as ever and it seemed the same as every other year. Less people seem comfortable with walking up the streets naked now though. Shame if it does reduce in size, there are lots of great secluded beaches to use in Spain but sometimes you just fancy getting lost in a crowd somewhere busy or just enjoying a walkabout.

Hi

I was on Vera Playa last month. I did notice that there were more textiles but generally the naturists were using the same stretch of beach.

Hi we were @ Vera Playa in mid october, we found the beach way past the hotel to almost the car park to be naturist mostly, but some textile nearer the c/pk, in the opposite direction you could walk for almost a mile as nature intended. We did find that the streets of V P were mostly textile, which we felt was a shame, but we and another couple walked to the beach unclothed which was very liberating, We can't wait to go back.

all beaches in spain can be used on a naturist basis legally , ignore any signs and for further info look at friend vera playa , they are the people on the site . Think there may be confusion relating to the signs , but they know ( and i just " think i know!".

Love light and Peace ( as Spike would say)
