Acorns naturist retreat now has a super new indoor area, for all guests to use.
Winter has been spent converting an old shed next to the swimming pool into a heated leisure area.
Double glazed floor to ceiling windows give panoramic views over the site to Dartmoor in the distance and also over the pool area.
This is a great place to be, what ever the weather. Inside what is now known as The Cow Shed, is a lounge area, with various games, puzzles, books etc.
Part of the building is given over to the pool table (free) and table tennis table. For those in need of exercise we have various gym machines and then, there is a small honesty shop, so that once you have done your exercise, you can have a bar of chocolate and a beer to celebrate !
So, no need to wait for sunshine, come along to the Cow Shed. (Now cleared of all cows !)

I'll definitely being returning to Acorns this summer after having a great time and made to feel very welcome last year on my first visit.  The new indoor room looks great.

Just booked to go back to Acorns in July. Looking forward to it a lot. Fingers crossed for good weather like I had when I was there in September last year.

Although only 70 miles from us we've not managed to get to Acorns yet, but we feel a weekend away is in order. Just one thought, where do naturists keep their money for the honest shop?  😉

The new cow shed sounds ideal, I'm sure GG will be at home there  ;D

At the two naturist honest shops that I know - Chateau Guiton and Infiniti - each client has a sheet of paper to enter their purchases on and settles up on leaving.
The other alternative which I used at the Red House naturist camping and pub was to put money behind the bar and fetch more when that ran out.

Having just returned from a few days down at Acorns, I can confirm that you mark in a book what you take from the honesty shop and settle up as you leave.
Had a good time and the weather was fantastic.

Just returned from 4 nights at Acorns and can report that the Cowshed and other developments are great.
It is so good to see such a relaxing place to be nude all the time.

just to add our bit we just spent a long extended  weekend there and just want to say wow  we were made welcome from the first minute thought the gate , in to reception met Kathy given a tour and shown to our pitch, the  facility are great and the pig roast was a lovely evening met and made some great new friends ,it was the wife first time apart from a swim night and she had a really good time , watching the sun set in the hot tub and the stars come out ,, shame the weather let us down a bit but even with the rain we had a great time  and will be back for sure hopefully soon

I was also there for the hog roast and I agree it was a brilliant event and day. May have even said hello!

Another lovely stay at Acorns last weekend. Weather was good again, but it was great to use the new "Cow Shed" in the evenings as the temperature dropped off.
I'll be back next year for definite.
