Just spent most of the day at Theddlethorpe beach in Lincolnshire on what must be the warmest day so far this year. It was so fabulous to get back there and enjoy the sun, blue skies and skylarks all over again. I have spent seven years in North Yorkshire and I miss this county so much but most of all the beaches. Let's hope for many more days like today only warmer.
This is a view of a typical Lincolnshire beach but this one in particular is Theddlethorpe. I find visiting this place a very moving experience with all of the old military connections it has.
Been to Theddlethorpe Beach today at the Churchill Lane end. It was a really nice day out but way too windy for any real sunbathing however I don't think summer is too far away.
We are going to Theddlethorpe on Weds for our first time. Hoping for good weather and also some nice people down there.
Steve and Tina.
Theddlethorpe is the place to be in Lincolnshire. I was there on Tuesday and did a nice half days sunbathing. It did eventually come over a little cloudy but was still very warm. I always go to the Churchill Lane end.
