Hi,
a few years ago ,maybe 10... I would go to Armação de Pêra, hope I have spelt it correctly there is a beach to the east that was naturist then and I belive it still is . you need a car to get there as you drive through a nature reserve.
Have a look on google earth afraid I am on a slow connection so cant check this end.

One of the nicest beaches is Zavial, which is not far west of Praia De Luz.

The further east you walk from the car park, the less is worn is how its described in many guide books,

There is also a very good restaurant.

I have seen nude couples at the east end of Praia De Luz each, on the rocky section.

There are some nice eateries in both Lagos and Alvor.  Alvor is particularly good to visit at sunset as the views are spectacular.

We are off to the Algarve tomorrow for the first time. I've jotted down details of one or two naturist beaches, however as my wife isn't a naturist I'm not sure how close I'll get to any of them. If I do manage to visit any I'll post something here on my return.

We've just come back and offer the following:

Alvor, right up the harbour end, a bit of a walk, but nice and quiet. Don't go to the east end - pretty but packed and no nudists, in fact very few topless.

Never used Luz and no chance on Burgau .

Cabanha is ok, but a bit exposed re wind. need to walk along to the left.

Zavial is brilliant - don't confuse and go to Ingrena. when you hit the beach walk left as far as you can and the naturists are there. Wife would be very happy to be taxtile, or semi as well as naked.
