Hi everyone

My wife and I are now regular visitors to Vera, but it's 4.5 hours away. We can be in Benalmadena in 2.5, so we're going to give Benalnatura a shot at the end of this month if the weather holds out.

Can anyone give any advice regarding hotels that are within walking distance please.

Thanks

I'm here now  😀

The link above is the nearest maybe a 150m walk. No direct experience but have been told it is good.

In case it is not obvious from the link....

Located next to Torrequebrada Golf Course, Flatotel is just 20 metres from Benalmádena's Yucas Beach. It features an outdoor pool with a bar, a snack bar and a gym.

Benalnatura is to the west of "Yucas"

Hi
Well, we managed to visit the beach on 1st November.
a bit smaller than I thought but it was okay.
We stayed for about two hours only because we were too hot - we didn't have the sunbrella - and hungry.
Planning on spending a week there in April or May in 2014. Two hours closer than Vera.

Cheers!

We are going to be in Benalmadena at New Year so if the weather is reasonable we'll probably give it a try. On previous occasions when we have been down there we have been with non naturist friends so haven't bothered but this time we're on our own.

Well worth visiting. I think it's a good beach for the winter because it's relatively sheltered and the air temperature doesn't need to be too high before it's comfortable to strip off.  🙂

Visited this afternoon for the first time. Walked along the road from Benalmadena Costa - about 55 minutes from Castle Bil-Bil. Walked back using coastal path where possible - much quicker and more pleasant.

Very pleasant to soak up the sun for about an hour. I even ventured in the sea - not as cold as anticipated. The mrs (Watergirl) didn't go in as she did not want to injure a poorly toe on the stones. Probably around 15 people on the beach - some clothed (probably had enough sun) - so plenty of space. All seemed to be Spanish.

All being well we'll be back again tomorrow for a little longer.

Glad you found it OK, and sounds as though the weather was reasonable.

Hope it keeps warm enough for tomorrow and beyond. Have a great time.

It's a year or two since we were last there, but have enjoyed quite a few successful mid-winter visits.

Managed to get back for a 2nd visit yesterday afternoon and had the best part of 2 hours there until the sun started to go down. Not quite so many there (New Years Eve?) and although we thought they were all Spanish again, one stopped to wish us Happy New Year as he was leaving and turned out to be an ex-pat Scot who is a regular user.

One tip. Although the bar is closed this time of year the guy who runs it was there doing some cleaning/maintenance and he will happily let you have the key to unlock the toilets.

I've got a couple of photos which I will put in the Media Centre when we get back.

Managed another visit today. As we have moved resorts we went by car - about 25 minutes from Elviria (just to the east of Marbella). A lot more people on the beach today (30+) but still not crowded. This may be because we arrived a lot earlier and stayed longer (about 5 hours) r it could just be the glorious sunshine. A good international mix (Spanish, French, German and Brits as far as we could tell) and some other ladies for the first time as my wife was pleased to note. Hope to get one more visit in before we go home on Friday.

I assume you know you now have another lovely naturist beach much nearer to you at Elvira? Playa Cabapino - centre of the map in the link:

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Elviria&ll=36.485884,-4.745278&spn=0.011128,0.026157&oe=utf-8&hq=Elviria&radius=15000&t=h&z=16

It's to the west of the Marina - on the approach road to the marina there is a turn off to the right with a huge free car park behind the dunes. Just either stroll over the dunes onto the beach, or take the track at the opposite end of the car park from the entrance and wander down to the beach bar at the end. Probably the nicest naturist area from here is just to the left as you face the sea - but there may well be naturists anywhere in the vicinity. Like Benalnatura, it is popular, but much more open. The beach is one of the nicest on the Costa del Sol. As with many places, there are unfortunately occasional 'dodgy goings on' in the dunes, but the beach should be
absolutely fine.

This link shows the big car park, and in the bottom left of the map you can see the beach bar. You'll notice how busy the naturist beach was when the image was taken too - probably in the summer.

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Elviria&ll=36.48594,-4.74626&spn=0.002782,0.006539&oe=utf-8&hq=Elviria&t=h&fll=36.485974,-4.746619&fspn=0.002782,0.006539&z=18

Have a good time whatever for the rest of your stay.

Thanks for the link. We knew there was one somewhere round here but we weren't sure where so we went back to Benalnatura today. For the record it was a lot busier (relatively speaking) today but still lots of space. A really good mix of people as well with a lot more females and a young family.

We'll give the Cabopino beach a try tomorrow as the weather is still looking good.

Thanks once again.
