Anyone been to the coast between Plage de l'Escalet and Cap Lardier near St Tropez? We'll be staying nearby this coming September for a few days and  hoped to find a nice spot for nude bathing and sunning. Looking on google earth the nearest place to park seems to be Escalet. Any advice welcomed. 8)

There's an official naturist beach at Pampelonne, up towards St Tropez - which is very popular.  We haven't done naturist near Cap Lardier - people tend to stick to the official beaches.

Ah Pampelonne....my very first naturist experience abroad. Aged 8. Nice beach bars....windsurfers...sand...that's all I remember. And Cannes for a day.

Camping Kontiki right on the beach is still there but at a price.

Having recently returned I can confirm that the rocks / beaches along the coast from l'Escalet are fine for nude bathing - lots and lots of people there 2 weeks ago on the weekend.

Also just along the coast towards St Raphael is a nice official naturist beach at St Aygulf, which does get very full!
