Can I ask if anyone has any info on when/if the beach will be given a tidy up and if there are any plans to re-instate the road at all?
I doubt if the road will ever be reinstated as the area is subject to coastal erosion.
As for litter a few friends and I tend to do a litter pick when ever we get down there ,but if fellow naturist took the litter back with them it would solve most of the problem.
agree with BBdow, the road will never be replaced, I also wonder what further erosion the Recent Storm Surge has done to St Osyth, it was quite seedy last time i went with my Wife so we now go to Winterton on Sea or Studland
Morning all, just thought id say I went down to st o beach this morning to walk the dog and found a fair bit of damage after last weeks surge tide. Managed to reach the naturist area getting soggy feet in doing so, there is still a lot of standing water where there wasn't before and debris most of which should decay or be buried by the shifting sands over the winter. I am glad I went though as I did manage about 20 mins strolling about naked before I started to go numb as the cold sea breeze got the better of me. Nice to be there just naked me, the dog and nature. Hot coffee time now though!
I wonder on that topic what damage has been done to the beaches near me. The cliffs are so badly eroded anyway, and it can't have helped. We didn't get the worst of it which was reserved for Norfolk and Lincolnshire but the harbour front got a bit of a drenching. Hopefully it will all be repaired by summer. If it keeps on being dry, that will help.
