My favorite is Birling Gap as it's not suited to Gawpers, has a consistent turn out and tend to get the best of the weather (least of the wind). Pevensey/Cooden is OK too. There are some wanderers but all naturists.

Odd that you had an issue with Fairlight though as it is normally not like that at all!

As a long time user of Fairlight I "sort of" agree with you. There are all sorts in the bushes and on the cliffs, that being said they tend not to come down onto the beach.

If you haven't been to Fairlight - beware the climb up and down - it's a killer on a hot day.

Other places worth a visit? Cooden but parking is limited, and Camber on weekdays but not weekends when it is just too busy.

Will visit Fairlight tomorrow to check on the beach and see what the weather has done to it. Hopefully there hasn't been any landslides at all.

I use sandwich bay its ok the beach can be abit messy but on a nice sunny day its nice

I think I have that opinion because two summers ago I spent a full day there on one of the hottest days of the yeear. I then had that lethargy a day in the sun gives plus I'd run out of water. The climb back was murder! I did have a shitty night recovering.
