Good news, although I'm disappointed that the length of the beach front is not being extended.
Now I appreciate that the Studland beaches get very busy during high season, and sometimes it is literally wall-to-wall bodies, but given how many textiles use the naturist section (which incidently I have no problem with), I don't see as how it would be a problem to extend the area along the beach where people can go nude.
This is very good. There is a large stretch of sand between the textile and naturist area which is usually pretty deserted, maybe one day they will give us some extra beach too.

Whilst I have never been to Studland most of the negative stuff I read is based in the areas directly behind the beach. Seems odd when you consider Holkham is being closed to naturism.
It would however be great to see more naturist areas being opened though.

We went to Studland w/comm 10th June (we usually go every year). What a pleasant surprise to see more space given for naturist use in one of England's most beautiful spots.
The scenery was stunning and people enjoying naturism as it should be. Thank you National Trust!

They need more space? It's a massive chunk of beach they have. There's only ever a few old men there, and you only ever see them parading up and down along the line where the sign divides the naturists from the normal people. Either that or they pop up out of the dunes like meerkats when you walk by. Believe me they'd be happy with a phone-box size area as long as it was somewhere everyone could see them.

We have been to this beach once but living in manchester its a bit of a treck. this beach is well worth a visit david and steve

Maybe NT realize the battle is lost with the "couples in the dunes" so making the area in the dunes bigger keeps it away from the beach, just a thought.
