Gave this beach a try this morning as its only a couple of miles from where we are staying. It's a beautiful beach in terms of the long stretch of fine sand but, at least at this time of year, it was an uncomfortable experience. Other than another couple of guys my wife and I were the only naturists on the beach as far as we could see but we attracted a lot of gawpers some of whom seemed to have come just to stop close by us and masturbate. I guess it might be different in the summer when there may be many other couples and families around.
After about 30 minutes we packed up and drove over to Benalnatura where the atmosphere is totally different. Everyone is really friendly and genuine and you feel really safe and relaxed.
Glad you found the beach, but sorry to hear about your experience there. We've been in the middle of winter and also during the summer too. But I think our last winter visit was on a Sunday and there was a moderate number of people - couples and singles - enjoying the sun au naturel. However, it is of course very much busier and lively in the summer - quite a young vibe then.
As I mentioned, I'd heard there might be some unacceptable behaviour in the dunes from time to time, but we've never encountered any problems on the open beach.
Thanks for the feedback in any case. Hope the trip there didn't waste too much of your day.

No, very little time lost as it's on the way to Benalnatura from our resort and only just off the dual carriageway. And we at least now know where it is.
I have visited Cabopino in the past and never had any problems. I used to walk down to the marina and back up to the Chiringuito many times, it's a pleasant stroll.
Stressed when dressed
My wife and I used this beach a couple of times about four summers ago. We had no problems and the beach was 99% naturist. We loved it and my wife (non naturist) had a wonderful massage from a Chinese lady. The cafe/restaurant was good and naturist also.
