Is the Mablethorpe naturist section at the North End area adjacent to the Gas/ oil installation inland ?

Dint know that Mablethorpe had a naturist section

Walk North from Town and the dunes are on the left. Or walk South from the seaview car park and dunes on the right. Hope to see you all there this year.

I love all of the beaches on the Lincolnshire coast as they are all so remote but accessible. Theddlethorpe is one of the best especially the northern most part but North Cotes beach is my favourite as it is very remote and quiet.

I love it at north cotes,walking around the island and takeing a dip when the tied is in.

I see there are several threads on Theddlethorpe & North Coats already under UK beaches for those interested.

I will be visiting UK next week and hope to visit friends in the chapel st leonards area, Are there any suitable naturist beaches close by ?
Friends are textiles so thought I better ask the experts !

In a straight line Mablethorpe & Theddlethorpe are about 10 & 12 miles north of Chapel St. Leonards probably a couple of miles more by road, North Coats is about 24 miles.

I stayed at Mablethorpe with my family a few years back. The Lincolnshire coast is so undeveloped compared with say Southend where I live. Its beautiful there. I look forward to going back even more now I know there are good naturist beaches in the area. 

I did not know of the Lincolnshire beaches. I am assuming unofficial? Living in S. Yorks had sort of accepted day trips to beach is a bit far but Lincolnshire is good. 2 hours.
We will be interested in knowing more  and visiting this summer

The Lincolnshire beaches are ideal for someone from South Yorkshire. If I were you I would go via Worksop, Retford and Gainsborough, then drive across to the coast. The best beach by far is Horseshoe Point which is close to North Cotes but Theddlethorpe is also excellent. The North Cotes beach is by far the most remote but to find the quietest area requires a walk of around twenty minutes. Beautiful stretch of beach and very quiet during the week.

I have been to North Cotes too. I followed the signs to Horseshoe point. Like was said previously you will probably have to walk 15 to 20 mins to find it quiet enough. The last two times I have been there there was only one other there (early in the season) but we had a good chat.
I will probably try it again this year, but want to try Theddlethorpe as I have heard it is a little safer, or tollerated should I say.
