Went along to this beautiful secluded spot today for a bit of swimming. The water was lovely, not cold and not warm but just right for swimming about in naked. You can park right beside the falls but getting down to the pool is quite a struggle down steep slippery slope. I went down the opposite site to the parking by crossing the bridge, once down I went over the stepping stones at the shallow bit and round to near the falls where it was very secluded to strip off and leave my clothing in a waterproof bag to prevent it getting to wet from the misty spray.
The water was slightly peaty coloured but swimming in under the waterfall (about 40ft) was fantastic, I swam for around 1hr before I came out, the ventured up the hills behind for about another 1hr walk. Even with it being the Summer Holidays here the place was deserted and I didn't see a soul the whole afternoon. It's quite a hidden gem that even the locals don't seem to know about!
