I would have a picture of my wife and I up or one of just my wife. Id find it weird just having a picture of just me up. Only in the bedroom. The kids are small and have friends around.

I've got a b&w nude of me on my bedroom wall. I'm so vain lol

No need to be, Claire, you're a very pretty girl.  No need to worry I'm old enough to be your grandad.  Haven't gone blind though!

M
.I was born naked, what's your excuse?

I have a couple of nude paintings that I did (of other people) on the walls and usually, visitors are very interested in them. Dunno about photos. We're not a household for photos on walls really so it would be a bit odd just to have naked ones there.

I would also add that I did a painting of my friend and she loved it. She hangs it in pride of place in her house for all to see!!!

Maybe I'm not such a bad painter after all!! 🙂

No naked pictures or photos of us displayed anywhere at home.
But I do use mosaics of photos of our naturist theatrical performances and rehearsals as a screen-saver on my home computer. I assume that the individual photos are too small to cause offence.

I have taken many pictures of naked models with the specific need of having good pictures to work  woodcarvings. I have never considered any of them to be problematic as I  have a number of nude figures displayed in the house.
I sold my first carving many years ago when I managed to display my work in a local exhibition.
I think one of my most amusing pictures was during a photographic session when I hired a studio. I was working on a theme of 'mother and child'.My model was draped in a sheet as I was  working on a semi abstract theme.I need pictures from at least 4 angles so the model stayed put and I moved round. When the prints were processed the staff at the Kodak shop were very interested to find out why I had taken the set and they never commented on the draped set because the sheet was not big enough so round the back there was a naked backside that did not really fit with the rest of that particular set set.
The important thing is that I did complete that carving and it takes pride of place on our bedroom windowsill.
To address the question there are no naked pictures of me/us as we have never considered taking them as were are no oil paintings!!!

No I don’t have any naked pictures of me hanging on the wall at home. As I live on my own and have not taken up the trend for taking selfies, I suspect that doing so might result in me being put into a straight jacket and thrown into a padded cell designed for peculiar people.

I can understand why people who  live with other(s) might like to have pictures of themselves, either naked or not, on the wall at home, especially if they are shown with other people, such a family members, and particularly if they serve as a reminder of a happy time (e.g. naturist holiday), but for me I suspect doing so would be considered exhibitionistic … or would it?

I might perhaps do so if I considered it ‘art’, whatever that is. Maybe a pencil drawing, especially if it’s not obviously me who’s depicted? Maybe some sort of mosaic of photos such as an ‘arty pieces of me’ composition. Mostly though I am slightly taken with the idea of carvings/sculptures. Perhaps some sort of woodcarving that looks like it could be me but isn’t obviously me could be interesting and aesthetic? If someone offered to make a sculpture of me I might go for it, especially if I could keep the sculpture when it’s been made. Then again, I’m not sure whether marble or bronze would be best though and I don’t know where I could keep it at home. Maybe donating it to a naturist club would be an idea? I saw a naked woman naturist-type statue somewhere but can’t recall where it was now (near Boston, MA, perhaps?).

What about a full or partial body cast that could be displayed indoors or out in the garden ? I have a contact email address (somewhere in the depths of my computer) of a guy who does some beautiful work !
Photographs can also be easily "Photoshopped" into line drawings etc.

I did have a nude of me on the wall for a while. It is the one you can see when viewing any of my posts. It was taken by Wendy.

As an avid photographer, I have taken many nude images of Wendy, my wife plus friends and models. The nude photographs of Wendy I have in frames tend not to be simple portraits, as I prefer to capture the human form more as a landscape, and try to be a little arty. I change the pictures fairly regularly. My father was a sculptor and the family home had quite a few nude figures and sketches about. I have faded memories of sitting for him occasionally, as indeed did my mother many times both for portraits and figure work. I never had any talent with a chisel and my sketches fell short of my own expectations. When I finally could afford a decent camera I soon found it a good outlet for my creativity. Being a naturist, I soon started to take pictures of the nude. Sitting here now in my study, I can see two nudes both of Wendy on the wall, plus a calendar three of us compile every year. Two naturist couples join us by each “submitting” four nude images taken over the previous year and we have a calendar produced with a limited run of three copies. It’s always a challenge to come up with something a little different which also looks good in calendar form. The current one is I think the tenth.

Hmm, I’ve tried making photographs into line drawings using Photoshop-like software a few times but haven’t yet managed to create any ‘drawings’ that I like on account of three main problems. 1. The success or failure of such attempts seems to depend on factors such as the resolution of the source photograph, the contrast/highlights/shadows in the source photograph and various other attributes of the source photograph that a non-artistic person like me can’t easily discern 2. I only have ‘proper’ Photoshop at work so have to use cheaper photo editing software instead because it’s unwise to play with photographs of naked people while at work, and 3. It’s seems weird to look at a photograph of one’s naked self for more than a moment and making even a near satisfactory ‘drawing’ from such a photograph seems to require looking at it for ages.

A full body cast might be fun to model for and it might be nice to own something that ‘is me’, and perhaps could be accommodated in my garden, but I expect it would be very expensive, even if only made out of plaster. I’m not that keen on the idea of a partial body cast though, mainly, I think, because of the notion of disembodied body parts. If one did have to select only ‘parts’, then I guess breasts and genitalia are the obvious ‘parts’ that people would usually choose to cast, but isn’t that pornography (maybe not to a naturist if done ‘right’ somehow)? Apart from those body parts, a bust, not of my bust but of my head and shoulders (I wonder why that’s called a ‘bust’?), might be doable, but wouldn’t having one’s face covered in plaster be horrible?  Apart from head and shoulders, some sort of hands casting might be appealing, but perhaps that’s just my peculiar taste, plus it still has the problem of being a disembodied body part.

Interestingly, I had a quick look at some sculptures for sale on the internet and saw quite a few that resembled my body shape quite well. It seems to me that, for most sculptors (and body casters, if that’s not quite the same thing?), the face and hands are the most difficult parts to get human-like, let alone me-like. Perhaps I should get my face and hands cast and then graft those castings onto a generic me-like body? Then again, even that wouldn’t be quite as good as knowing that the entire sculpture/casting ‘is me’, and may not be much cheaper than commissioning a full body cast anyway. I suppose I’ll just have to learn to sculpt and learn how to stare at myself in a mirror for the requisite hours. I’m not sure which will be more traumatic.

Hi
We have a lovely set of pictures of us taken by a friend
We are both completely naked in relaxed positions / cuddling standing laying etc
Some have had the line drawing effect some in black and white - but all clearly us
These are in a multi type frame in our bedroom
Doubtless the kids and grand kids have seen them, one daughter cleans for us but not a word has been said and we really do not care we love the pics and they will stay where they are

Cheers

We dont have any but I am tempted to get a cast of W
We have  friends L & A, who have several. L is a photographer and he has lots of old sepia toned "nude /erotic" photos around his house. Its only when you look closely you realise that some are infact not old and are photos of A his lovely wife

Do you have naked pictures of you hanging on the wall or staying somewhere at your home? Or maybe also on a digital photo frame?

Thought sometimes about it. But don't want to be seen by family or friends.
Could imagine to do it as an experiment to see the reactions by unknown people or if a neighbour comes arround...:-)

we hav some in the bedroom in a frame of both of us , no 1 really goes in there so its fine.
