My wife and I are going to Jersey in July, can anyone recommend any beaches suitable for nude sunbathing?

sorry matey naturism  not allowed anywhere on the island, shame really as they have some fantastic beaches.
very Victorian attitude to nakedness and freedom of clothes.

Read of their intolerance of nudists on various web sites in the past. I understand Guernsey is better - beach at Le Jaonnet on southeast coast between popular Petit Bot beach and Icart headland has been mentioned.

Also naturism was tolerated on the smaller island of Herm off Guernsey on a beach on the north west tip of the island - not sure if it is still used by naturists.

Heard of other (minor) locations on Guernsey & on Alderney but I would be very careful if I checked them out as they are pretty conservative in outlook in both Balliwicks.

I've been to Jersey several times and there are no naturist beaches.

They realy are a peculiar bunch, considering their closeness to France, but it's definitely not a place to book if you really want a naturist time.
