New to this game are there any beaches myself and possibly a lady friend can go to in Yorks or Lincs
Fraisethorpe near Bridlington used to be popular but after the local plod flew their helicopter low over the naturists last summer before signalling to their colleagues in cars, who spoilt the day for naturism, I can't recommend spending any money in that area these days.
I know that some from Sheffield have been to Holkham in Norfolk. BN have organised a Beach Day for August 10th.
Apart from that there's the Sheffield Swim.

Members in this forum have posted in threads on Mablethorpe, Theddlethorpe, and North Coats all in Lincolnshire recently. 🙂
Has anybody got any more info on Mablethorpe like how to get there by car ( I don't drive but my friend does) can you get their by public transport or even if anyone else is going and we can tag along (we are new to this naturism )
There is a thread on Mablethorpe in beaches (UK) last updated 23rd May - beach and dunes are beyond northern end of the town beyond caravan sites - there is a car park near the seal sanctuary at the end of Quebec road - can anyone confirm whether this is the right car park for naturists to use ?
When we've been to Mabelthorpe in the past we've gone from M1 junction 34 (Tinsley south/ Meadowhall, A631 Bawtry Road, Maltby, tickhill, Bawtry, Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Louth and Mabelthorpe.

Thanks that looks promising
North Cotes is just south of Humberston which is on the edge of Cleethorpes. It is a very lonely, secluded spot and is signposted Horseshoe Point which is its proper name. The sunbathing area is at the rear of the old airfield close to a couple of saltwater lagoons. This is a beautiful place to sunbathe only spoilt occasionally by a few dog walkers. You need to bring refreshments and food as there is nothing for miles.
By the way: From Sheffield, the best way would be Worksop, Retford, Gainsborough and then across to Louth. This would be the best way for all of the Lincolnshire beaches.
Sounds good
