We motor around Europe in our camper quite a bit and use naturist sites as much as possible. One day in France Lucy went to the shower block wrapped in her towel, but came back carrying her towel and wearing nothing - I then reminded her we had moved from a naturist site to a textile one.

Interestingly a couple of people had looked but there was no adverse reaction - from my minor dealings with the UK's CC I expect there would have been a full committee admonishment ....

I stayed on a French camp site a couple of weeks ago and had the whole camping field to myself and my girlfriend. We were naked for the majority of the time there. One French guy walking his dog passed by without comment as we sunbathed and two Brits were so loud as they approached we had time to cover up. I used the ablutions naked with no concern every day of our stay.. And it was a fabulous pace to stay.. Probably very popular during prime holiday season

Thanks for sharing that - made Sue and I chuckle.  🙂

We also use mostly naturist sites in France; but we haven't forgotten our clothes on any textile ones... yet!

Sounds good - do share the name and location of the site with us.

I've sunbathed in the buff once or twice on a couple of quiet textile sites. Also, next to our camper in a National Trust overflow car park, in the corner of a field.

And a few years back, staying in an apartment at a small textile holiday development in Menorca, at Son Bou, we sunbathed and swam au naturel  in the pool each day. We'd enjoy the nude beach in the morning, and then use the pool area in the afternoon, when most other residents had gone to the beach. No hassle whatsoever, even when somebody did occasionally turn up.

Some great stories....

You lot are a brave bunch of campers.

I dont think I would dare strip off on a textile site unless I was the only one there.  I find it still reasonably difficult to strip off on a clothing optional site

I have often thought about campervan driving for short time unclothed but then my sensible part of my brain kicked in and thought about all the legal implications but I think it would be fun for a mile or two.

Sorry that has probably taken the post a little off the original subject.

We work for the CC, on a site in Cornwall. I can well imagine the response of other members who might see someone naked. However some pitches can be very secluded and I am sure if one was very discreet.....
We both wear orange friendship bands. Do say hello.

Interesting - thanks for the insight. I guess I'd better not inquire which site you're located at.

Please tell me where I can go camping , preferably in the south of England where I can be naked all day. Is it not possible to stay on a naturist camp site as a lone male. (Maybe with a Jack Russell too)?

A number of camp sites rather than clubs accept singles and dogs.  One I have used is Acorns Naturist Retreat in Devon.  There is a thread on this site.  Most clubs will accept singles for a visit, it is illegal to discriminate, but not all will accept the dog.

afternoon folks,

We camped at the dower house campsite in the thetford forest a few years back and went to the far end of the site where it was quiet to take off the clothes, it was midweek and the site was fairly quiet.
Also at chatellrault campsite  just off the a10 in France one summer which was very hot and the site was quiet. Also I have used the pool there late in the evening, just slipped off the cozzie and put on the side , swum a few lenghs and back on with the cozzie

My wife an I were spending a night on a textile site somewhere in Dorset, can't remember where now, and it was stunning weather and we were situated up one end of the field. Our nearest neighbours were the horses in the adjacent paddock, so with awning and windbreak up, I stripped off and enjoyed the afternoons sun, had a few beers and a barby.
Pretty sure we were not seen, however, when paying prior to leaving the next morning and generally having a chat to the owners, he did pass comment that it looked as though we had enjoyed our stay. What he exactly meant, I did not ask, nor make too much off it, other than to reply that the stunning weather and great setting we couldn't but enjoy ourselves.
Got a couple of photos somewhere, I'll upload in a bit.
