Went to Portslade beach today and it was really hot in the lee of the wall there. Did go in the sea for some veryquick dips- it was rather chilly! Quite a few other naturists there but not what you would call crowded. I have posted a photo in the Gallery
Just a reminder that B.N (KSER) are holding a beach day at Portslade this coming Sunday 21st August. Look out for the orange gazebo which should be in position by 10.30hrs. Please come along and say hello.
The water has warmed up since Don's visit, and now all we need is a fine day.

Just a reminder that Beachwatch returns to Portslade on Sunday 18th September. This event organized by the Marine Conservation Society, is a litter survey, and general beach clean up. It will be taking place on beaches all around the country over that weekend.
You only need a pair of gloves (gardening or similar) and something on you feet, to join in. Under 18's require parental consent.
Meet in the parking area at the western end of the beach at 11.00hrs. We should be finished by 15.00hrs but you can arrive later, or leave earlier.
There will be plenty of time for a picnic, and a swim if you want one.

Does anybody know the parking situation there. I've heard the port people halved the free parking down there to make space for more non existant lorries to hold?

The car parking space has been reduced, although I haven't counted how many spaces there still are. There were plenty of "non existent" lorries parked up when I went down the other evening for a swim, their parking area was full. However being the evening there were plenty of car parking spaces left.
