What a day! Sun beating down and nice still air, perfect for getting nude outdoors!
With this little plan in my mind of going to the nearest official (petitor beach is ten mins closer but unofficial) clothes optional beach I packed my things and started driving.
Arriving at my destination I started my walk down the beach heading away from the crowds of clothed and undoubtedly heavily tan lined people to what I wanted to class as my kind of beach.
Before even passing the sign there were throngs of nude people lounging around enjoying the beautiful day, so I parked up respectfully further along where I had a spot and stripped off...... Ahhh that feeling! What liberation! And having never been nude in public before it helped having so many others there is wasn't like I was first on the beach to go nude.
Reading and chilling out I saw more and more people arrive and head further down the beach to me.
I wanted to say hello but don't want to upset anyone so kept a distance, being a single male and all.
One chap did come and talk to me but unfortunately he was playing with himself a fair bit during conversation so I politely excused myself and went for a swim.
What a day- short but sweet after and hour and a half I packed up and begrudgingly left. Petitor soon?!?
Until next time!!!
do not be afraid to make the first move - all nudists in general are polite and will acknowledge
Keep going now and get the bug for it.
Just a bit of advice from another single male - I started going to nude beaches in UK when a little older than you. Your experience with the individual isn't uncommon but most guys who are interested in other guys are generally very polite and you can easily make it clear if you're not interested. Blunt responses usually get rid of those that aren't polite and on open beaches the other naturists will quickly become aware if someone is being a nuisance and will tend to intervene [you'll find there's a regular little community on most beaches]. And yes you can just go & talk to naked people - it's no difference to if they're clothed, some will not be very communicative but most will chat [& I've found naturists to generally be more open].
You should try Weston Mouth - a little further trip & a heck of a hike down the cliff but well worth it [& a friendly bunch of people there, or at least used to be- haven't been up to that hike for a bit].
Great sailing pic btw!
I really should have been born on a tropical island
I agree Weston is a lovely beach and I don't mind the walk down its the
the HIKE back is the killer 🙂
We were at Budleigh Salterton 3 weeks ago, we had been in Cornwall for a few days and stopped off at Budleigh for a couple of days on the way home.
There were a good few naturists on the beach but they did not seem a particularly friendly bunch to us. We had spent a few days previously at Gorran Haven in Cornwall and we were made very welcome there by fellow naturists.
Budleigh is a nice spot to visit, and the beach is ok if you dont mind very uncomfortable large pebbles.
To be honest because people on the beach were not that friendly would probably give the beach a miss and try elsewhere
If you are up north, Ross Back Sands is wonderful. Beautiful sand and very nice people to chat to. My family went there last week. It was glorious. The North Sea was refreshing!
