Came across this the other day, looks fantastic. Anyone tried it before?
It looks a lovely place, if a bit out of the way (but that may be an attraction.) It could be a possibility for us now our son lives in Scotland. There was a write up about how this place came about in the last BN magazine. I see that they are listed in the Scottish Garden Scheme so day visits could be pleasant.
Good luck to them

They seem to be textile tolerant which is good as my wife is not keen on being naked. Looking forward to trying it early next year all being well.
Things have moved on with this one. I was having a conversation with my wife about me being a naturist over this last weekend and it presented the ideal opportunity to mention The Waterhouse to her taking care to explain that it was clothes optional. It was met in a positive way and a couple of days later I showed her the website.
She was impressed by the accommodation but was blown away by the gardens, and to my absolute amazement she actually suggested that we could go there as part of a 2 centre holiday!
Talk about jaw on the floor, I still can't believe that she suggested we go, my wife is absolutely wonderful, one in a million! I'm now in the process of speaking to both of the holiday venues and will be making a booking for the spring next year.
Well done - sounds great. It just shows you can't underestimate the power of communication.
I haven't been to the Waterhouse, but it has always looked appealing. And as you say, the gardens are lovely too.
I suspect it would feel much less 'threatening' from your wife's perspective, than going to a 'full on' naturist resort, for example. She knows she can be comfortable and choose how she wants to handle things at the time. The options are all open.
Good luck and hope it all works out for you.

Thanks Mike, booking has been made and we're all set, can't wait.
We'll let you know in a couple weeks when we get back. It should be a real get away if the weather holds and the midges are friendly.
Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Hope you have a good time and the weather is kind to you.
We stayed there in Feb earlier in the year. Its lovely! If anyone would like some info I might be able to help
Some info would be good, I really can't wait to get there and I'm already wishing it was going to be for longer. Might have to make it a regular place to go if we enjoy it.
Stayed there for a weekend in February. This was our first naturist holiday in the UK. We usually go naturist abroad. The weather was great being able to sit out in the sun at times. Garden nice with loads of wildlife to view out the huge windows.Nice walk around the water. The accommodation had everything you would need. Loved sitting in hot tub at night under the crystal clear skies. We are going back in August and hope the weather is good because if it's heavy rain it might not be so enjoyable but that's the same wherever you go.
.We are going back in August and hope the weather is good.....
We'll be there from the 22nd, we may be next door.
We will be there the following weekend from 28th
Now sitting in the lounge of "The Lodge" and can say that it's a really relaxing place if you are looking for a get away from it all sort of holiday.
You can't bank on the weather but the sheltered south facing terrace makes the most of any sun there is and there is plenty of interest in the surrounding area. We'll put a report under places towards the end of our stay
We hope you enjoy your time in our quiet corner of the UK. It really is beautiful when the sun shines!!
