Although we had experienced the joys of naturism on the beaches of the UK and abroad we had never visited a naturist resort.
We decided to give Vera Playa try in September 2011.
We met up with Genny and Dan who showed us to our apartment in the El Cano 2 block at Natsun. They invited us to join them and their friends at Tiggers bar after we had settled in.
Linda.who had never experienced social nudity was a little nervous but within minutes of meeting up her pareo was cast aside and she relaxed.
The holiday was a great success .The week was spent swimming sunbathing and socialising with fellow naturists.
Towards the end of the week we could be seen walking naked around the resort without a care in the world.
We have since visited VP again and also Euronat.
This summer we are planning to go to La Jenny (All being well )
Following our first experience at least one naturist holiday a year has become the norm.

We have yet to go to a nudist resort, but inspired by other stories, I am sure it will happen soon. South of France sounds like a must!

We went to Vera Playa to an apartment self catering.  The only times we dressed were to put a tee shirt and shorts on to go to the supermarket and one evening when we went to a restaurant for our evening meal.  Otherwise seemed quite surreal most of the time going out the front door and out the gate into the street and down the road to the beach without any clothes on.  Also able to have lunches at the Chirinquito on the beach au naturel as well.

Yes, We have often talked about going to a resort. Going to Spain or France means that it is going to be pretty warm. We have heard mixed things about places in the south of France. It can be very pricey for accommodation, and it is very basic. Going somewhere less commercial is probably the key.

Have a look at Euronat, Arna and CHM Montalivet  web sites - self catering but with cafés and restaurants - you can be totally naked all week if you wish.

For somewhere less commercial, I would suggest Vera Playa in Spain (roll on Monday 🙂 )

If you want somewhere warm in summer - Serignan Nature - could fit the bill. It's on the Med in the south of France, and a complete contrast to Cap d'Agde, and all that goes on there.

Stunning beach and the site is full of pretty flowers and shrubs.

And the free on-site balneo is not to be missed - it's shared with the textile site next door, so nude everyday until 1pm - then costumes required in the afternoon (but better to go on the adjacent naturist beach then).

East coast Corsica is also great - we have been to Bagheera a few times and really enjoyed. Lovely bungalows in the woods right on the beach and with some great restaurants nearby.

Although we had been going to nude beaches for many many years, last year was our first visit to a naturist resort, Vera Playa. Stayed in nice apartment right on the beach. Great getting up in the morning and going for walk along beach before it got busy. Liked seeing how long we could go nude. 4 days before we had to slip something on to go to the supermarket. We have returned twice since then staying in different apartment. Can't wait for next visit.

It was at Turtle Bay in Michigan . I was driving back home in Illinois by way of Canada. I got up very early in the morning in Canada cross the bridge into USA and was at  TB early. I thought for minute that they were not going to allow SM daytripper in but they and I had a blast . Play water volley ball with a mom and her son who regulars and it such perfectly natural.  ;D

My first resoprt experience was at Sunland in the SE of south Australia. What a beaut place, friendly folks run the place, have their own nude beach and great facilities. There were only a few nudists there on y visit but every one was a delight to meet and enjoy soem nude tiem together. Will be back this sumer they have now installed a pool, in a natural bush setting with sand dunes that tower over the landscape. Recommend the place to everyone. Go see for yourself and say hi to Wendy and her beaut family.
