I used to live in South Africa and I am currently in communication with the major naturist organisations and resorts in the country in my capacity as the BN Holiday Advisor for South Africa.
Nudism is not officially legal in the country but the authorities tend to turn a blind eye to historically accepted naturist venues. Durban has an unofficial naturist beach near Umhlanga on the coast north of Durban. The Hooting Owl is a resort near  Durban which offers naturist friendly accommodation. Naturist facilities around Port Elizabeth are virtually non-existent, however there is the well known naturist beach at Sandy Bay near Cape Town. Butt Nothing is a self-catering naturist accommodation venue near Port Elizabeth. If you require more detailed information please send me a direct message.

[color=rgb(40, 40, 40)]Naturism is gradually becoming more popular in South Africa since the demise of the Apartheid government prior to Nelson Mandela leading the ANC came to power.
