Walking nude

Reminds me of when I used to go on nude walks a lot before I moved. There was a (very) little used track near a road, with dense foliage between the two that I passed every day on my way home, previously on the roadside, but I started taking the other side as it was quite a serene view looking across the fields, especially towards sundown. And then I started taking nude walks on said track. I always had my trousers available at first, just in case, but towards the end I started putting them in my bag and just wandering and if I saw or heard someone  I would melt into the side to dress, often make out I was just quickly taking a leak, wait for them to pass then keep going. I did once or twice bump into people, but no one cared, despite one time the person I bumped into was a lady and her daughter walking their dog. No care was given and we each kept walking our seperate directions.

I did even once take a nude walk in the snow and make a snow Angel. Despite being really cold it was really refreshing, hit cup if tea and a blanket when I got in and all was better.

I don't know any areas locally I can do nude walks now though, all the areas I can think of have fairly regular dog-walking traffic.

edit, just a quick typo fix.

I am who I am, not what other's want me to be.

I'm hoping for snow in the Peak District this winter as I really want to do a naked snow walk.  My usual Facebook cover photo is me stood naked stop something and I'd love a shot on a hill in the snow too 🙂

Also, I'd be up for a naked walk meet up next year.  Have already discussed a little bit with djsk108 and am going to go Scouting in the Peak to find somewhere suitably remote 🙂

Sounds good, but with not having transport of my own it's difficult, and/or expensive, for me to get much past local for anything at all.

Are you going to the Sheffield swim on Sunday? I am hoping to.  Perhaps we could meet and chat about it then?

Yes I am, assuming nothing untoward happens between now and then to stop me.  I'm the younger bloke with beard and ponytail.

Ah excellent - I'll try to spot you then.  I'm also youngish (30), alas no ponytail these days.

Cool, well I'm not hard to spot. Pretty sure I had more hair than everyone else put together last time. 😉

The nude hike sounds interesting.  Would be interested in joining you and Dan if you would have me.

Back in June, with a friend as photographer, I did a nude modelling session in Bellever Woods on Dartmoor and saw nobody except a walking party in the far distance.  I went back there on my own two weeks later to recce the area around Bellever Tor for a possible nude walk, but the closer I got to the tor, the more people I saw, and I had to put on the sarong I'd been carrying.  🙁

It's difficult to find places that are sufficiently remote and sparsely populated for nudity. I've recently been drawn to paganism, and I'm currently looking for places where I can meditate and practise nude, or skyclad as it's called.

often when I go walking I will leave my clothes in the car, the areas I walk tend to be quite remote so it isn't often I meet anyone, and when I have whilst they might be a little surprised I have never had any problems.

I planned walked up into the hills in Menorca, last year starting in town with shorts on, then when alone into the hills wore only my small shorts I had on underneath ( very small) until I had realised it was very quiet up there, then walked naked for ages, just keeping my shorts in my rucksack just in case. over a whole week i saw maybe 2 people, and they didn't even look twice, just said "Ola".
In UK I ride my bike into the countryside, then cycle nude or sit in the fields on a summers day. The world would be a better  place if more people could enjoy this natural way of life.

Give Bodmin Moor a Try, I have walked nude many times with Nudefest on the moor.

Sounds great - so glad you were able to enjoy walking nude in Menorca

Hi everyone, Here in Australia we have similar mores and unwritten behavioural codes of naturist conduct, so it does pay to observe those. But I tend to prefer bushwalking nude either in forest behind nude beaches or on private property with other naturists where acceptance and support is all around me. Plus its a much better experience that having to be on guard a lot to cover up etc. Enjoy!

Has anyone done the official nudist walk (Trail) in Germany (18Km, 11 Miles); on my list of things to do.

There are more trails also opening in Germany - so it seems Germany is the place to be for naked walking - and yes I do wish the UK would have some official nude walks so you didn't have to think if anyone will take offence and have shorts on standby all the time.
