Yes, I think a photographers' gallery would be a good idea. How about a monthly theme with the members' favourite image going into a Naturist Corner calendar? If we start now, we could be ready for 2016!

I've been interested in photography since my early teens and have dabbled with darkroom work in both black and white and colour and used a range of 35mm cameras and now digital. Now I enjoy using imaging software to achieve the effect I want - so much easier and quicker than messing about for hours in the darkroom!

I like taking landscapes and seascapes and architectural shots but have recently started having a go at the nude as an art form. It's been difficult getting a model and somewhere suitable to have a photoshoot so I have turned my lens on myself. It's not satisfactory and I've found it difficult to get everything set up and get a good pose and not fall over the tripod in an effort to beat the self-timer! It would be really nice to meet up with others to enjoy photography together whether or not as naturists and perhaps a gallery and some sort of monthly theme might encourage this.

Am I a photographer? Not sure - been doing it as a hobby for about 7 years or so (not so much last couple of years) but now getting back into it. My favourite style was low light but right now I am trying to get experience in portraits.

Did do a studio shoot for a lovely naturist couple and must admit the photos were quite good but always on the lookout for models for both studio and location work.

My online portfolio is here https://www.flickr.com/photos/drzac/

Like your photos Nigel. Especially the low light shots.
I like to take shots involving texture. Old doors that sort of thing. I have a flicker account, but I don't know how to link it.

I take lots of photographs but i would not regard myself as a photographer - more like a naturist illustrator as my pictures are usually intended to illustrate some aspect of naturism or a naturist event.
I think my media stream on NC epitomises this.

Here is a picture I took of someone who remains naked all the year round at Crosby Beach along with 99 others. They don't care who sees them and they never retreat from the tide.

I have recently got a Sony bridge camera, and I'm trying to get it off auto.
I have started an online course, that I am plodding along with, and
I have a couple of photo's that I'm trying to edit a bit with Photoshop, with very little success, but I have a book now so all should be ok 🙂
will let you all know how I get on.
I have looked at some of the photos and web pages you folks have put up and I think I have a bit to go yet, but I will get there I'm sure.

I'd consider myself a keen amateur, mostly landscapes and nature (oh and the dogs... hundreds of the dogs!). I have a mid range Nikon and a small selection of gear that I'm always looking to expand on; I really (really, really) want a decent telephoto lens to make the most of the fantastic wildlife that's on my doorstep - sadly that's an expensive purchase, so I'll have to want for a bit longer!

Photography is a great way to open your eyes to what is around you and nothing beats getting that perfectly composed and exposed shot.

Here's my take on Antony Gormley's Another Place installation at Crosby Beach (with a couple of perplexed looking spaniels!).

Everything is better nude 😉

Am I photographer?
When I look at those pictures taken by Cherry and John the answer must be NO!

Been keen photographer as a hobby for about 30+ years..... mainly landscapes now, and prefer B&W. Also aircraft and motor sport in the past....  Did try a few arty self portraits and posted them in the members area a while back...... Defining what's "art" and what's  "to far" put me off.
