Hi everyone, I'm happy to say that today I had my first "proper" social naturist event, the Southampton swim at Oaklands Pool.  It was great, I really enjoyed it....as you all said I would 🙂
I got lost trying to find the place and for a moment thought, maybe I can use this as an excuse to turn back lol.  But fortunately I didn't go with that one.  I turned up, was met by two friendly guys on the door who'd organised the evening, and then went into the changing rooms, or rather undressing rooms.  Before I knew it, I was showering with the others and finding my way into the water.  I really did have that feeling of being free and chilled, a kind of peaceful feeling I guess.
As you predicted, people were very friendly, I got chatting with half a dozen people and swam for about an hour. And I reckon I must have a big cheesy grin in the group photo!
Thanks to NC members for encouraging me to take the plunge, and thanks to the Southampton swimmers for welcoming me in.
Can't wait for the next time  😀

Not sure if I chatted to you jack but I agree it was a friendly bunch and quite well attended I think I counted 34 but I could be wrong as people kept moving.
