Living in a big city like London does not make it easy to get outside and enjoy a nude walk!

But I am determined to really make the most of this year so with a little help from google maps and the train routes I made it out early on Saturday morning to Hertfordshire for my first nude walk of 2015.

This was more of a reccy to see what the area was like and also a chance to test out my 2 new toys - remote control shutter for my camera and my selfie stick. Unfortunately the sun wasn't out but I made the most of it and will definitely be returning there.

Hopefully it will be the first of many! A few pics from my walk in my gallery.

Great to hear that you've been able to get out and about. A first walk after a long layoff always feels amazing.

Hope you get to enjoy plenty more good walks this year.

Have fun,

Ian.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

Nice to read about your new adventure here, D! That first walk of the year is extra special and it's especially great to try a reccy to a new location - you almost get that completely fresh, unusual feeling of your first ever walk all over again. Do you think you'll be back, or will you keep trying new spots?

Reminds me, I also need a remote for my new camera... 😉

Not been out for a walk yet this year but I usually get over to Exmoor to explore for day hikes, usually 6-10 miles, particularly hunting for great skinny dipping spots. If you ever fancy coming west to find a bit more 'space' Dan you'd be very welcome  8)

What an excellent blog post there. I really enjoyed reading that and a few others, keep it going! (Still amazed after finding this forum how many of us there are around the country with the same ideas)

I made it out early on Saturday morning to Hertfordshire for my first nude walk of 2015.

Give me a shout next time you are in this neck of the woods (Herts) and I'll try to join you 🙂  I only get a chance to walk on weekdays though.

Hey thanks A! Yeah I'll definitely be back there again. There is a massive expanse of forest to check out so I was only really touching the edge of it there but as you say it is so much fun exploring new places. Just wish I had more time as after an hour or so the first dog walkers and joggers started to appear. Before then you feel as if you have the whole landscape to yourself!

Oh and yes the timer was great - saved so much time and hassle!

Thanks Simon. That would be awesome. It would best good to go on a proper nude hike where you have that space and expanse which is not something I can get around me really given my location. I will definitely be taking you up on that when the weather warms up a little!

And your blogs are great!

Hi, as you're based in London have you thought about joining one of the SOC naturist walks? They are usually accessible by train from the city. I joined them for a walk last year for the first time and was made to feel very welcome.

I hope to join them for a walk or two this year.

Thanks for the tip - yes I have looked at them actually and would be keen to join their walks. It's slightly tricky that they do them on weekdays so I would have to take time off work but I am definitely considering it. They look great.

It's great that there are so many of us out there enjoying our naked rambles - the SOC walks sound great, bit far for me though! Still I can happily console myself knowing, on my doorstep, I have miles of the undulating Scottish landscape to frolic through 😉

Happy naked rambles everyone:)

Everything is better nude 😉

Amen to that. I was early yesterday morning again for a ramble and the sun was shining and the birds singing. Just a fantastic feeling.
