Anyone know if Pembrey is still a viable naturist beach. Years ago is was extremely popular - we visited on many occasions and joined lots of couples, singles and families around the old 'target' rocks.
However, following some local bad publicity we've avoided it in recent years. 🙁

Nothing legal has been done to change its status from a traditional clothing-optional beach in spite of the Cabinet Councillor in charge of the leisure facilities of Carmarthenshire County Council being rabidly anti-nudity.
The "No Nudity" signs in front of Pembrey Park are probably legal as they date from before BN was officially listed as a consultee in such matters but no properly constituted order has been made for the traditional naturist portion west of the rocks as BN has not been consulted on the subject.
Carmarthenshire Council cannot plead ignorance of the requirement to consult BN as I personally brought up this point on behalf of BN at a local community and Police meeting at which the relevant Cabinet Councillor was present and this was followed up be a properly acknowledged email confirming thias point.
