At the risk of diverting the thread, I do understand the people who get dressed to go to the bar. I would feel more comfortable; my wife however would prefer to be nude. I have no objection to others being nude, it's just for my own comfort.

We stayed there several years ago. Staff was very friendly, as were the club members. We enjoyed the evenings in the club house, with games and animations. During the day it was quite normal to be naked in the large meeting room. Going from there to the bar to fetch a pint while being naked was not at all a problem. The evenings were rather chilly, so people did put on some clothes, but that's very normal.
I've experienced it a few times that the staff of a naturist camping is dressed, both in the office or walking around the site. At Brocken Hurst this sure was not the case. To us this proves that they take naturism at heart, and not only as a way to earn money. It also makes you feel immediately at ease.

This is a place we gladly would stay at again.

The naturist foundation is organising a naked run (5k) on 17th May (AM). More information and details on how to register on their website. Great event and nice to enjoy the some food at the club house and relax in the heated pool after.

We visited today shame about the weather, but on the plus side would like to thank all the members who made us feel very welcome.
We will be booking a return visit very soon, the place is great with a good atmosphere and great facilities.
The only thing was the weather was a let down and we can't do anything about that.

That's good to know, I've been meaning to arrange a visit there myself. Just need to find a weekend when there's good weather!

We visited the Naturist Foundation in Orpington with our two eldest children in the early 80s while we were staying in London, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely grounds, great atmosphere.

I've always liked the look of it and I wouldn't say 50 acres is small!

Question to those who have been there. Is there public transport nearby into London?

From Orpington station you get the 477 towards blue water and about a 15 minute walk down the lane. It's stop g for the bus outside the train station and then 12 stops on the bus.
If you go onto there website click on directions and use the public transport directions they tell you exactly how to get there.

Sounds good, not reliant on a car to get out. Many thanks.
