Hello all,
It's come my understanding that nudist beaches are hard to find , they seem even more difficult to find in hampshire- are there any?.
Whilst the sunny shores of calshot are a nice break, and frequently used, it would be nice to know of any others around?.
Thank you.
My friend Mr Google provided this when I looked...
Have fun,
Ian.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
I'm a great fan of Eastney. Free parking, almost no walking. OK it's only a shingle beach but for me that is a small price to pay.
Boundaries are there to be stretched!
Taddiford Gap near New Milton and the western end of Calshot. Quite a few of my album pics were taken in Taddiford.
There are numerous semi-official beaches along the south coast & lots of out-of-the-way spots you can sunbathe nude. For the full-on experience go to Studland [near Poole] - it's a great beach and easier to get to than most
I really should have been born on a tropical island
Being an island resident i can name a few on the I.O.W there are naturist beaches at Culver Beach near Sandown, beneath Blackgang Chine and between Atherfield Point and Shepherds Chine. I know the one near blackgang isn't easy to reach, if you look on the Red Funnel website there are links.

I hope this helps you
Beaches are hard to find in the south????
Blimey. Come and try living up here.

Firelight Cove is a lovely little beach tucked away although I haven't been there for a while.
There are several on the IOW As promoted by British Naturism there are naturist beaches at Culver Beach near Sandown, beneath Blackgang Chine and between Atherfield Point and Shepherds Chine. Some are easy to find, some more difficult. You can find information on most island websites. I hope this helps

Where is this one?
Probably means Fairlight Cove which is the other side of Hastings.

AKA Fairlight Glenn
It is about 2.8 miles East of Hastings. You park at the top of the hill and have to walk down a half mile, then on the way home half a mile uphill, much of which is quite steep. Not for those with a dodgy ticker. You can walk there at low tide from further East but the window is quite small. Way too far for the original posters question. If it were me I would go no further East than Shoreham if I were them.
Shoreham is a really good beach, brighton without so much of the bullshit. Parking a bit crappy though.

West Beach at Littlehampton is easily accessed.

Notes from a novice who visited Eastney Beach Portsmouth today:
I went alone (a first!) 'cos my wife was working, and who wouldn't go there
anyway cos it's too close to home and she might bump into someone she knows (!).
There were about 6 single males there and 200 - 300 textile dog-walkers. It was busy if you like dogs and a desert if you'd rather be with more naked people.
The sun was warm, the wind cool/cold and the tide low. It's not a shingle beach when the tide's out - it becomes sandy, with the shingle piled above the high-water mark.
The few naturists were savvy enough to bring windbreaks. I wasn't, soon
got cold, and put my kit back on.
It was my first visit and I'm going to try it again, perhaps at weekend, when it might be busier. The dog-walkers seemed chilled enough, the sandy shoreline was inviting for a walk, but I wouldn't do that if there weren't others doing the same. There were no official notices declaring the beach
clothes optional so I'm assuming that the local dog-walkers were truly tolerant, as long as we stay away from the waterline where they walk....
I must say that I prefer mass naturism on beaches rather than the odd one or two and that being a single middle-aged male felt odd - anyone want to try the beach feel free to message me - 'safety' in numbers.
