We too are visiting southern Crete for the first time in late Sept / early Oct, staying at Vritomartis Naturist Resort in Chora Sfakion.

I've researched on line and there seems to be some great nude beaches available - mostly at the fringes of main beaches eg Plakias, Frankostello etc. Micro Amoudi also looks great. Many other beaches are so remote I think nudity is practiced anywhere.

Sweetwater beach is worth a visit. Nice vibe about the place

Filaki Beach,which is owned by Vritomartis Resort is open to the public.

Many years since we visited Plakias, but went nude within a short distance of the village in both directions.  I think there was an official beach of sorts to the east .

That was the first time I got my wife-to-be to go nude -the    ;D

It can be very windy there sometimes, but would love to go back. Paleochora is a good place to stay, but a bit of a trek from Plakias.

Haven't been for many years ( when olympic's were in Greece).
But there were many naturist friendly beaches near plakias.
In Plakias there is the east of village, East Enders (There is also a forum on Plakias.)
then looking at sea turn right about 1/2 walk there is a beach, can't remember name.
We caoght the land train over to next bay or teminus to the right looking at sea, and then walked to Micro amoudi, naturist beach, it had man made umbrella sun shelters, but beach shelves away when entering sea, it also had a type of shower there.
A few hours drive there's diskos.
Have a look on Captain barefoot site.
The samuri gorge is worth a vist but not naturist. :-

Plakias was the first real nudist holiday I had . Accessible ( unlike many nudist beaches) and relaxed too. Just made me realise Id like to go back!

Plakias has to be the best naturist beach on Crete, we shall be there in early July!!
